Have never made scones before and not much of a baker, so take that for what is worth, but I thought the scones from this recipe were great. I followed others suggestions to put the egg in the measuring cup and then add liquids but it still needed at least 1/2 cup more flour (I wasn't measuring at that point) as it was too moist to kneed. I used 1/4 heavy whipping cream and 3/4 almond milk. I also added some dried orange rinds that I had grinded previously into a powder for some orange flavor. I also had to cook an additional 7 minutes to get them "golden brown" but ovens vary. I will definitely make them again.
