Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2004
This bread is sooo good. I read the reviews and wanted a lighter/less sweet bread so i used half the sugar. It came out perfectly.

Mrs. Fields Cookie Recipe II

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2004
These cookies had really good flavor, but i think the recipe needs some tweaking. I would use less of the oatmeal powder and more flour, it was almost like an oatmeal cookie this way, which definitely wasn't what i was looking for. Also, the recipe called for far more chocolate chips than I like, i guess i should have been able to spot that right away. If you don't flatten the cookies before putting them in to cook they don't expand at all, I almost lost my first batch that way. Definitely a good start though.

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2004
I was expecting alot more from these cookies than what i got. The flavor really wasn't great and they were somewhat dry and greasy. I may try to make them again because all the reviews are so great, i may have messed something up, but i don't see what it could have been.

Italian Herb Bread I

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2004
I don't know if i did something wrong or if i just have weird taste but this recipe really didn't do it for me. I should probably note that this was my first loaf of bread, but it was dense and crumbly, and it didn't really get crusty at all. With that said i should probably note that everyone else who tried it loved it, my friend told me it wass the best bread she has ever had and ate half the loaf, and my mom who hates chese gobbled it up.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2004
This is THE recipie to use on a date. It is so simple and easy that the two of you can make them together and have alot of fun while you do it. Make them at the beginning of the night and then cuddle up in front of a movie and wow your special someone with a gourmet dinner. Afterwards your strawberries will be cooled and you can enjoy your creation together. What man could resist? Make sure you make these with really high quality strawberries and chocolate. The huge ones with the stems on them and Ghirardelli chocolate chips make these to die for. They are also really pretty decorated with a drizzle of white chocolate. Do not attempt to make these the day before, they will still taste amazing but the strawberry juice starts to come out and they will not look so pretty.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2004
These will be, by far, the best cinnamon rolls you have ever had. Go back and read the other reviews, they really help with this one. Make sure you cream together the ingredients for the filling and spread the combined ingredients over the dough (this keeps more of the filling in your rolls instead of on your pan), and taste your filling to make sure you have about the amount of cinnamon that you like. I increased the amount of filling by about a half because i like mine really gooey. Also, use a glass pan if you have one, and adjust the cook time to 20 minutes at 350. When your buns come out of the oven flip them out of the pan, and scrape the extra filling drippings back over them (this makes them completely gooey and delicious, and also eases cleaup by leaving you with less sugar in the pan), and then frost them immediately. They are absolutely delicious and reheat wonderfully in the microwave, and i am told they are even amazing cold. Next time i am planning on trippling or even quadrupling the recipie and freezing a couple batches for a rainy day.
