Scallops with White Wine Sauce II

This is a really good recipe. I have never made scallops but I made them better than a good resturant....so thats what they tell me. I put them in the oven for about 2-3 min and then added 1lb of raw shrimp and put it all back in the oven for about 4-5 min. it was perfect! the butter sauce was really good. I actually might have put more butter on....i like it greasy and tasty..mmmmm butter...!!!!

Blackened Fish

yes! this is good. i have never made anything blackened but this recipe will be making the rounds at my house. I used talapia and i put in some cinnamon...im not so sure about the cinnamon but my guests said they love it. I might not use so much butter but it did give it a great flavor and make it crispy. MAKE THIS RECIPE. ITS GOOD.

Couscous with Mushrooms and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

This was good but it didnt have enough flavor for us. It needed something tangy like feta to bring it all together.

Baby Back Ribs

Yeah! This is the recipe we have been looking for! The meat really does fall off the bone. I think it is really important to put them on the grill or uncovered in the oven at the end to make them crispy though.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

This turned out great! I even used a corona because I didnt have any root beer and it still came out very tasty. I will make this again and maybe add some onions. I will also leave some of the juice in the pot when I add the bbq sauce so it doesnt get too dry. Especially if I am making a large batch for a party.

Zucchini Nut Bars

We liked these bars. The flavour was great but as the other review says they were a little cake like and soggy. You can really taste the honey which I like. I substituted rasins for the dates. The powdered sugar absorbed so I dont think I'll use it next time. I also might try adding some oats in hopes that they will turn about a little more dense.

Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya

totally awesome! believe it or not this was my first experience wit jambalaya except for in a cafeteria. not that cafeteria food isnt good but......this jambalaya is the perfect food. i only made it once... but thats enough. i heart jambalaya!
