Creamy Banana Pudding

Served this Easter Sunday and it was a big hit.I used Banana cream pudding in place of vanilla pudding,make sure you use instant pudding.I dipped the banana slices in Sprite instead of lemon juice,which thought it would change the taste.Also used a 2qt glass bowl and 3 LARGE bananas and the full box of wafers. ENJOY!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

I just had a bite DELICIOUS..the best chocolate cake ever.I took several suggestions and used 1/2 cup oil + 1/2 cup applesauce to replace a full cup of oil.used 1/2 coffee in place of water. Dusted the semisweet chips (Reg size) so they wouldn't sink to the bottom and they didn't. It was moist and just PERFECT!!

Bavarian Apple Torte

This was a big hit.I used almond extract in place of the vanilla, in both crust and filling and added 1/4 cup sliced almonds..I used granny smith apples. DELICOUS!!!

German Rouladen

I made a few changes after reading other reviews.I added horseradish along with the mustard on each piece,also used a can of beef broth in place of the beef bouillon.I fryed bacon and onion then put it on.rolled and browned then placed in crock pot for 2hrs.Delicious.....don't forget the pickle...I served this with Chris' Kraut,recipe found on this site... ENJOY!

Quiche Lorraine I

Thanks to all other reviews it came out just perfect.Took a little from all. I used 10 slices Bacon,8 oz.Guryere cheese grated,perfect taste,4 eggs,1 cup whipping cream,1/2 cup 2% milk,1/2 onion and a couple of mushrooms sauted in a little bacon grease. Bake 30-40 min. Will make this many times it's creamy and delicious. used 9 inch glass dish. Enjoy!

Caramel Bars

I wish I had read ALL the reviews. I did double flour,oats,b.sugar,baking soda,salt. Did add a few more carmels about 40 in all and 6 T.Heavy cream used 1/2 C. pecans and 1/2 C. s.Choc.Did have to bake crust longer 18 min, the final baking is were I mest up,just cook until top is lightly toasty,still will be soft to the touch,but will harden when cool,(wish I had read that)Still great, So bake about 25m and check. I cooked mine about 35-40Min It was still soft THEN realized the carmel would stay soft until hardened. Enjoy!

I'm sorry I took another readers advice and reduced the oil to 3/4c. I think it would have been moister with the original 1 1/2c.

Creamy Banana Bread

This is my second review on this B.B. After reading other reviews I decided to try it again and follower the recipe. The first time I used more banana and flour and it did not turn out well. This time it was fine,but I think I will mix in the nuts next time instead of putting in the middle.
