Caramel Cream Frosting

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2007
I didnt like the taste too much, but it was alright. As someone else said, dont cook the sugar first because it will harden pretty much instantly and be stuck once it cools.

Easy Strawberry Pudding Parfaits

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2006
Wasnt a terrible recipe, the strawberry sauce was a bit runny though. I used both chocolate and vanilla pudding. The vanilla looked nicer, but I liked the way the chocolate tasted with the strawberries better.

Prosciutto and Parmesan Pinwheels

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2007
These were sooooo easy and everyone loved them. I also modified the recipe. I used low fat swiss cheese instead of Parmesan and that totally eliminated the grease. For the mustard I used honey mustard and put a bit of rasberry preserves in it. They turned out great.

Hamantashen II

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2011
I made the dough exactly as written in the recipe, and think it definitely suffers from too much flour. This is probably what caused other reviewers issues with the dough being crumbly and cracking, and also might be why the cookies flatten while they cook. I added a bit of water to the dough as I was rolling it out, but it was a pain to do. In the future I would probably try to cut the flour down to 5 cups and see if that works better. The dough is delicious though, and with a few modifications I bet these cookies would be spectacular.

Peppermint Meringues

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2012
This was my first attempt at meringues (well second since I screwed up the first batch!), and it turned out pretty well. I did add the peppermint extract as other people suggested (only 1/2 tsp) and you definitely have to fold it in after everything else is done or you will screw it up like I did the first time. They were really good though!

The dough was too thick at first to work in the cookie press, I added some water and it worked out much better

Apple Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2006
I read the reviews and feared having flavorless chicken, so I made a few changes and had absolutely NO problem with lack of flavor. I added cinnamon to the apple(granny smith)/cheese/bread crumb mixture and also seasoned the chicken after pounding it out with salt, pepper and garlic salt. I also added a slice of butter to the inside of the chicken when rolling it up (kinda like chicken kiev). I replaced the water with half apple cider and half chicken broth and left the amount of wine the same. It came out perfect, and I was told by one of my guests that it was honestly the best chicken he's ever had.

Soft Garlic Breadsticks

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2007
The breadsticks ended up tasting pretty bland, so after I coated them with butter I sprinkled garlic salt on them, it made them taste a lot better.

I used regular cookie sheets instead of the muffin pans, and they turned out fine. You definitely dont have to use the muffin tins if its a pain to get the cookies out! They turned out really yummy and everyone loved them.

Chicken Garlic Pizza

Very very good. I used a Boboli crust and added Mozzarella, but kept the onions out. I added an extra tablespoon of butter to the butter mixture. I will definitely make it again.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2006
This tasted so much better than I was expecting. The family ate the entire giant bowl. I cut out the mushrooms and onions because my family can't stand either and I added flour to the sauce as several people suggested and that made it far less runny. I will definitely make this again.
