Espinacas con Garbanzos (Spinach with Garbanzo Beans)

used 12 oz of fresh spinach, and added half of the cumin, then added the rest little by little to be sure that i didn't use too much. a little extra olive oil, and a grate of fresh nutmeg were the only changes i made. someone mentioned that a little white wine would be good, so i'll try that next time. very tasty. i think a little smoked paprika would be a good addition. i may try it using white beans in place of the garbanzos. with some sliced spanish style chorizo added, and crusty bread, this would be be a great, easy, fast meal.

Shrimp Fried Rice II

i used leftover rice, a lot more shrimp(added raw), a sprinkle of 5 spice, with cilantro & thai basil at serving. easy and flexible recipe. next time, i'll try extra vegetables.

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

It came out a little more done than I prefer, because I used a thermometer. I added about 30 minutes of cooking time @ 200 degrees to try getting the temperature to 145. Time for a new thermometer. It's very tasty, and will make a killer roast beef poorboy, with the pan gravy on it.

Happy Shrimp

I made this last night, doubled the sauce, and it came out great! I used a mixture of diced roma tomatoes, and halved grape tomatoes, about 1 1/4 cups. Next time, which will be soon, I'm going to add about 1/2 pound of lump crabmeat. That's the only thing that I think could make this better.
