Spinach Dip with Water Chestnuts

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
My co-worker gave me the exact recipe a long time ago, and I lost it. I stumpled upon this recipe and was thrilled! This is the BEST spinach dip ever, and I would not change a thing! Only thing that may be slightly different is that I always just have Hellmanns' Light Mayo on hand and just use that. I don't notice a difference! My family, friends, and I love this recipe!

Corn Dogs

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2007
I loved this recipe!! It took a while to make, but it was well worth it! My husband and I made them together, and froze whatever was left. They looked just like what you get from the store, but tasted even better! They froze very well and reheating made them taste just like they did out of the fryer. Yum!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

I absolutely loved making these pancakes. I will definately use this for now on instead of out of the box. I added a dash of cinnamon, like I do to all my pancakes. Wonderful!

Absolutely loved it. I didn't have the almonds on hand, so I made without. So delicious!

I thought it was a tad bland at first, but then doctored it up. Was very good the next day for leftovers.

Chewiest Brownies

Reviewed: May 26, 2006
This wasn't too bad. My husband absolutely loved them. I was hoping for something a little different. I baked it at 325 for 30 mins and it came out perfect. Also used one person's advice, and splashed a lil milk to make it workable.

Sausage Gravy I

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2006
I thought this recipe turned out absolutely wonderful! I had been craving this for so long. My husband had never had it since we live on the West Coast in BC. He was in love! I used margarine instead of bacon grease and it turned out perfect! I also added just a pinch of cayenne and it really gave it a wonder flavor.

Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2006
I love making meatballs in the slow cooker now! I use fresh garlic and red pepper flakes to give it a little punch. I then add two jars of spagetti sauce and 2 bay leaves. Last 30 mins I take bay leaves out and add spaghetti and let it cook in the sauce with meatballs. Yum!

I made this a while back as a special dinner for my husband and I. It was very very good! Stuffing is kind of a pain, but I thought well worth it in the end.

Quite good! I never used chunky before with this so I gave it a try. Not bad! My husband has never had these before and my mom used to make them for us kids growing up.

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2006
Yum! Can't say it enough. We decided to use this recipe for my wedding, we made all the food ourselves. This recipe was such a hit we hardly had any left overs. It was easy to make 100 servings too. Of course I cheated and bought Hormel real bacon bits. But it went together amazingly! I'm making it again for a pot luck, I'm sure it will be a hit again :)

Cabbage Burgers

Mmm Mmm Mmm. Just like my mom used to make when I lived in Nebraska. I wouldn't change a thing, except just putting some shredded cheese. Homemade runzas are just toooo good compared to actually going and buying them from Runza.

This was so yummy! I did leave out the tomato paste, and also added green pepper and creamed corn. Otherwise, that was it and it was very yummy!

I love this recipe! Its definately very quick and easy to make. I've made it twice now; once I made it with sauteed onions on top of the patties, added the soup, then put fresh sliced mushrooms on top of that. Yummy!

I personally rather have potato salad cooled instead, but this was easy and delicous! It would taste good with a little bit of paprika in it too.

Soooo delicous! I took someone's advice and used 1 cup butter altogether instead of the 1/2 cup shortening. They turned out wonderful! I have my last batch on the cooling racks now and its hard to keep my hands off of them!
