This lived up to the reviews. Delicious! I just made a single serving for myself and was very impressed. It was SOOO easy, but tasty, and I am going to be serving this for company. Delicious.

Flank Steak with Garlic Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2005
I really love this recipe. The sauce is great, simple and savory tasting. I cooked medium rare and made extra sauce and served over mashed potatoes. This recipe is really easy, and flavorful.

Stuffed Peppers My Way

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2005
I loved these! Great flavor, something a little unique. I followed recipe exactly except sprinkled some romano/parm cheese on top and broiled for a few minutes at the end. I will probably cut back on pepper roasting time in the future, as they were plenty done by 25 minutes. Thanks for the great recipe!

Mom's Paprika Chicken with Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2012
Excellent and EASY meal. I used 2 chicken breast and 3 medium potatoes cut in 1/4s. I used hot smoked Spanish paprika and added some onion when I seared the chicken. Also used fresh garlic chopped, and added some whole peppercorns. Great flavor and I liked how the potatoes browned. I didn't add any extra liquid because I wanted them to brown, but did use more low-medium heat for 30 minutes instead of mediu. Fantastic and great flavor. I highly recommend using hot smoked paprika.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2005
This is absolutely delicious, I was so impressed. Even with some changes I made. I used diced tomatoes and accidentally forgot to drain, and regular milk because I didn't have cream, I just added some flour to thicken it up a bit. I used half the Italian sausage it called for, and spicy instead of sweet, and topped with shredded mozzarella and Romano cheeses. It was a hit, thanks so much! Flavor was just amazing.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2005
Have tried a few alfredo recipes and so far, this one has turned out the creamiest. I used low fat cream cheese and it was still good. Also, DON'T EVEN THINK about using the canned parmesan. Fresh only!!! It may take a lot longer to grate but it's worth it. This recipe makes enough sauce for one package of alfredo, and it really does thicken up quickly. Thank for the great recipe! Edit: I would probably use less garlic powder next time or maybe real garlic instead, and reheating it's not as good, kinda clumpy, still delicious, though.

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2005
I'll give it another five star rating, also. Didn't have a whole lot of people try it since there were so many other, prettier desserts at the potluck, but those who did raved about it and asked for the recipe. I followed recipe exactly, but did spray bottom with pam and followed another reviewers suggestion of spreading cream cheese layer to the edge so the jello stayed on top. It took a little longer for mine to set so I had to pull it out early and it was perfect beacuse it hadn't gotten too "Jello Jigglerish" on the top, yet.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2005
I really loved this recipe, the only thing I did different is blend the spinach, artichokes, mayo and garlic together so the dip would be smoother, and then added everything else to it. I thought it was great!! It didn't go over very well with my family though, I think it was too rich for them, but I was in heaven with this creamy dip and toasted baguettes.

Ten Minute Enchilada Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2005
Wow, I really like this sauce! It's so easy and tasty, definitely in my top three favorite enchilada sauce recipes but I suspect I'll start using this one the most because it's so quick and easy. I only madea couple changes, I diced about 1/4 cup of white onion really small and also used two cloves of minced garlic instead of the powder. Delicious over my shredded beef enchiladas. Thanks!

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
Wow, I didn't think a marinade would be that good but this completely changed my boring chicken and rice dish. I changed the servings to 2 since I was just making one chicken breast, cut it up in pieces and marinated for about an hour and then stir fried in a little canola oil and it really made the chicken stand out. I will definitely make this again.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2005
This is great chicken, I've been making it for awhile and it's a favorite in my house... I usually use chicken tenderloins instead of breasts, but otherwise follow directions exactly. Chicken is SO moist and cheesy, really wonderful.

Hummus III

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2005
What a great, easy recipe. Didn't make any changes. The hardest thing was breaking them down in a blender, food processor would work much better. Took me about 15 minutes digging out the thick paste at the bottom and pushing the still whole beans down to be pureed... I was happy to find Tahini at the grocery store in the Asian food isle, and rest of ingredients were simple. Very tasty, would make this again!

Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2005
I love this recipe! It was savory, indeed. I followed recipe exactly except used chicken tenderloins and only had to cook for 25 minutes. Flavors seemed to melt nicely and was just melt in your mouth delicious. I also sprinkled some parmesan on top with the bread crumbs and used extra swiss. Thanks!

Chicken Corn Soup I

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2005
Delicious! My mom's been making this soup since I was little, and I tried it myself after finding this recipe. I did things a little different since I had a chicken carcus leftover with lots of chicken on it, so I boiled that for an hour and then picked the chicken off, (had to add some chicken broth though), and then made the soup, also added carrots and parsely. Rivvels are wonderful. Thanks!

Easy Shrimp Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2005
This has been one of my favorite, easiest recipes for awhile. Tastes a little "gourmet" with the shrimp and all... I use a good quality cocktail sauce, and low fat cream cheese.... So easy and delicious!

Crispy Edamame

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2008
This recipe is right up my alley. I love edamame and salty crunchy snacks and to combine the two was a blessed union in this house. I didn't change a thing, might try some different spices next time like crushed red pepper but then again, it was great as is. Thanks for the idea!

Cheesy Sliced Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
Great idea, and nice creamy texture at the end. I only made a small amount for myself, cooked in the microwave for 8 minutes then baked in the oven for thirty. I am sure I would've liked them just nuked though, but I really felt the microwaving first did not compromise the traditional scalloped potato flavor, and this cuts the normal hour plus baking time down to a reasonable 25-30 minutes to get a nice golden crust on top. Thanks for the quick and easy way to make these kind of potatoes!

Oven Fries

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
Yup, as another reviewer said it's the sugar that makes these brown up and crisp, which I've rarely had happen before when making oven fries. Will use this method from now on, very versatile as well, think I'll do cajun fries next. Thanks!
