MVP Chili

It was ok. Followed recipe exactly. Did not remind me of chili. More like a pizza sauce in a bowl but not as red. Went well with some fritos. Probably will not be making this again.

BBQ Sauce

Im new to bbq sauces so wanted to try this one. I think it is a little runny but taste very good. Put it over bacon rapped chicken and turned out amazing. I doubled it but did half on the vinegar and water when I doubled. Was very pleased wife and company enjoyed it.

One Pot Pinto Beans

Very easy to do. Instead of pico de gallo with with some salsa and a can of rotell. I went with about two pinches of salt would recommend more. Will take much longer then 4 hrs to cook. I set a timer for a hour and stirred, checked water level, and repeat. At 6 hrs I smashed and ate but could of went longer. A dollop of sour cream is a nice finish. Taking left overs and making mexican pizza this evening. Would make again in the future.

Cranberry Sauce

Had to make this a little different then the recipe calls for. Could not find fresh cranberries so went with dried. Went with 1 1/2 cups orange juice and a splash of water. Added 1/4 tsp of cinnamon and nutmeg and a little orange zest. Turned out wonderful to me really sweet. Wife is a fan of the can stuff so she liked it but it was not the same. Next time think I will put it in the blender then chill for a few hours in a jello mold to get that jelly likeness that she enjoys.

Lentil Soup

Made this last night was my first time making Lentil Soup. Added more carrots (4 total) only, added 1 tbs of vinegar and added a larger can of tomatoes. Went really well with gluten free sweet cornbread. I will be making this again.
