Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2005
This recipe is great. I made half the amount for my husband and I, and it tasted wonderful. I made some minor changes that include forgetting to put the parsley in the end. I also substituted the bacon with cooked shrimp, adding them in the last 9 minutes with some extra sauce. I also sautéed some onion and garlic instead of the onion flakes. Served it with grilled veggies and rice. I like the recipe because the taste is not too sweet and the mustard not too strong. Its just right, Thank you for sharing :D

Spinach and Sweet Corn Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2005
Amazing recipe. Very smart way to eat ur spinach and a different twist to mashed potatoes. Everyone loved it :D. I did not change much, just added some paprika, and used frozen spinach, margarine and 1/3 cup of silk plain soymilk. The result was amazing, will definitely make again, thank you.

White Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2004
Very moist and rich. I made a chocolate cake from a book the same way and it turned out great, so I knew this recipe would work out. I am allergic to milk, so I use soymilk and margarine. I made my own soy buttermilk. I use a butter knife to test my cakes, this way, I can take it out when its perfect, that is when the knife comes out with some moisture on it, like a trail of water, but no cake pieces, if the knife comes out dry, that means its over cooked. I did not have enough margarine nor white chocolate to make the topping though. But the base was amazing, I usually make cakes and take it to my in-laws and they loved this cake rich and all sooo yummy, will always make.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2004
Yummy, I love lemon pie and I love meringue, now everyone loves lemon meringue pie too!!! This pie is easy and good. I used 1/4 cup lemon juice and about 1 and 1/2 lemon zest; I taste it before adding the yolks to adjust the flavour. For the meringue, i use superfine sugar (berry sugar) and it looks great, I also add some vanilla powder. My meringue shrinks, thanks to a review I know what to do, but for some reason, it leaks something, then dries off, despite that, it looks great and tastes amazing. :D (if you have any suggestions as to why it leaks, please post, I use imperial baking margarine)

Anna's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2004
Excellent recipe, everyone loved it, never got any complaints. The cookies come out soft and great tasting. They even taste better the next day! I make my cookies kind of small, so i do get 4 dozen. I also use margarine, the imperial cubes, and they turn out perfect. Thanks Stacey for the recipe :D
