Crab Rangoon

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2014
Been making these for years but I got the recipe from Kraft. I use 4 ounce of cream cheese to every 6 ounce can of crabmeat. We like more garlic in the recipe. These are always a hit every time I serve them.

Unstuffed Cabbage Roll

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2014
I've been making this recipe for over 40+ years and there are so many variations. I've never had an actually recipe. I just throw ingredients in the pot. I've made it with ground turkey or chicken. I've omitted ground meats and added kielbasa and have also made it with sweet sausage. Always add garlic. Added rice or chopped or slice potato. Normally add a teaspoon or 2 of sugar. This is a great basic recipe play with the ingredients and spices. No matter what you add or not it's always satisfying. Kraft recipes also has a version of it also. Thanks for sharing.

Great dip. Been making this for about 40 years. It's great with anything you have on hand. Veggies, chips, crackers. I have always enjoyed this recipe. I always add extra dill. Just a preference. Make the day before you plan to serve it as it taste best after the ingredients have blended..

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2013
I have been making this lasagna recipe for over 40 years and before that my mother use to make it for us growing up. It is the best. I have made this with more spices and more cheeses. I am not one to add extra salt as all the canned tomato, paste, have plenty. I have made this for many friends and it is always a big hit. Everyone who has tried it just LOVES it. Lasagna freezes well to enjoy at later dates. Have use just the sauce for spaghetti dinners. I am not one to measure ingredients and it comes out perfect every time. Assemble your lasagna and then freeze. When you have guest and don't want to spend all that time in the kitchen just defrost and place in the oven. Just as great tasting. You cannot go wrong with this recipe. ENJOY!!!

Slow Cooker Lemon Pepper Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2013
I have made this in a slow cooker so many times. Try adding rosemary with the lemon slices and salt and pepper and a little garlic. Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!I never add any liquid to my chicken and it comes out so moist every time. Good recipe. Everyone I have told to fix it this way was never disappointed.

Scalloped Potatoes II

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2013
I have been making this simple recipe for more years then I want to admit. It's a SIMPLE recipe you can add to if you want. You don't need to make a roux for this. Why is it that everyone needs to make all these changes and then rate it. If you don't like what you read look further I am sure there are other recipes on this site that will meet your needs. I find this with soo many recipes on this site and you are being unfair to the person who submitted it. Have you tried it as written?

Peanut Butter Potato Candy

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2012
This candy is super delicious and sweet. My mother use to make this for me when I was little, I made it for my children and then grandchildren. It's always a big hit. Do NOT alter this make as directed. Thanks for reminding me of my childhood Brandilynn. Brings back so many memories. I would give this a 10 if available. Keep this refrigerated after you make it.

Bow-Tie Pasta Salad

Excellent tasting salad. Had all the ingredients on hand. Goes well with grilled meats or as a main meal. This would also be good with salami or other meats added.

Homemade Ginger Ale

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2007
I made this recipe and will never try it again. The taste is not anything like a ginger ale, tasted more like Fresca. No one mentioned that the carbonation of this particular recipe will make a super mess. Mine was also ready after 24 hours. I opened the bottle after 48 hours then spent a good part of the evening cleaning all the ginger ale from the kitchen. Ceiling to floor. I doubt I will ever try this again. Hopefully this will help another reader when they try to open the bottle!!!

Should have read reviews before making this one. Too sweet and it was just too runny. More like soup then pie. Not something I will try again.
