Simple Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2014
I screwed up this recipe and threw it into a slow cooker on high for 4 hours and added rice to it. It looked like a stew, but the flavors were still there. You know its good when you try your best to mess it up and you still fail.

French Fried Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2013
Amazing fries!!!! No need to go out and get fast food fries after you've tried this recipe. I tried it today. I went with the cold water 1/3 cup sugar instead of the warm and had the time to let them soak for 2 hours. I cooked them in two batches, the first was cooked twice around 2 1/2 min each time and the second was cooked 5 min straight up. The first batch came out extremely crisp, had that perfect light brown color and tasted fantastic, the 2nd batch came out a bit lighter but were just as good, I had no preferences between the two.. I WILL make these again and again and keep them as a staple in my household for years to come. Thank you for this recipe :)

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2013
Good recipe, stuck to the recipe for the most part except I didn't use as much sour cream, and I used fresh parsley instead of dried due to the fact I didn't have it. I screwed up on the water and added around 1/3 cup to what ended up being 5 enchiladas using an adjusted 3 chicken breast 4 servings recipe. The chicken after I added the sour cream and other ingredients in step 2 yielded a very soupy combination, I drained some of fluids and it seemed to fix some of the issues. That's probably more on me if anything. Overall it was a tasty recipe.

Cocktail Meatballs

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2013
I followed the ingredients to a tee..While my family enjoyed them, they didn't rave about them, I got a couple of comments saying they needed more salt and pepper. I don't know if the recipe relies on the chili sauce to cover the salty side of this dish but I guess it depends on what brand you get. Maybe with practice I can improve how they come out in the future..

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2013
I had a roasted chicken still in the fridge and wanted to do something with it so I tried this. Good flavor, I'll try flour or something to dredge it up because the sauce didn't thick up. Would make again.

Parmesan Crusted Tilapia Fillets

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2013
Solid recipe, my family enjoyed it very much. I had to cook it longer to get the crispiness we wanted. Other then that, this is simple and you can make enough to last you the week if you live alone.
