Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2014
Easy. Just take one step at a time. I did run out of honey and subbed sugar for more than half of the honey. I made 3 large loaf and 3 mini loaves and adjusted the baking time a little bit.

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2014
Actually really easy with a KitchenAide. I follow the recipe exactly but for baking only had mini loaf pans. Made 4mini loaves, a pan of cinnamon rolls and froze enough dough to make 3 more mini loaves later out of 1 recipe.

Best Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce

Reviewed: May 20, 2014
Exceeded my expectations! I had three half loaves of white italian / wheat italian / bakery white bread, threw them un the toaster and/or in the oven to toast up before mixing them in. I think I may have used more than the 10 slices but my mixture was heavily moist but not soupy when I put it in the pans. I used 2 8x8 disposable brownie pans, fit perfectly. Baked in 1 hr and didn't cover. Also didn't have a cup of raisins so threw in a handful of craisins. Equally delicious.

Easy as stated. We added Frank's Red Hot to it when we served it. Big hit.

Easy Pepperoni Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
I use the Kroger frozen bread, turns out great. Instead of the separate spices I just sprinkle Italian Seasoning to make it easier. Do seal up the seams so cheese doesn't ooze!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

These are better than the bakery! Super easy. I don't like as much sugar mixture on the top so I half it and it's still abundant. Great recipe.

Kids and husband love AppleButter Pork night. Easy enough to do on school night.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2013
Delicious. I go ahead and boil the noodles the regular way and don't try to shave time off there. Too much time invested to have half done noodles.

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2013
I make it with regular brown rice (with normal cooking time of 45 mins) and it's fantastic as well. Just let it cook that extra 15 mins.

Breakfast Pizza I

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2013
Delicious as posted. Do put it in a pan with sides, egg has a tendency to run. Next time I will experiment with mushrooms, diced ham, onions, peppers. I think you can do whatever you like to this. I might also brown the hashbrowns to crisp them up a little for texture.

Hungarian Goulash II

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2012
Made this in my pressure cooker! It cuts the time down to 10 mins of actual pressure cooking. So easy and tastes like it is slow cooked. Only added a little Montreal Seasoning to the meat before browning and then 2 boullion cubes to the mixture to pour over the meat. We can make this once a week now!

Pear and Blue Cheese Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2012
My sister brought this for Christmas dinner exactly as the recipe states. Even those who don't normally take too many veggies loved it! It went perfect with Prime Rib, although I will make it with whatever and whenever! It does make a lot of dressing. Can cut those ingredients by half probably.

Butter Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: May 28, 2012
Even if you have never made pie crust before, you should try this one! This was my first time and I loved it! The ball really does form with the last Tbsp of ice water :) Doesn't even compare to a frozen store bought crust. I used my KitchenAide with the paddle. I took others advice and stuck my flour and salt mixture in the freezer for 5 minutes, cut up my butter and stuck it back in the freezer until I needed it, even stuck my paddle in the freezer to get it cold. Kept everything super cold so I didn't have to work at warp speed!

Yum. My kids love it. Easier than remembering to buy the packaged stuff when I already have the ingredients on hand.

Baked Apricot Chicken

The crockpot worked great for this! I put the frozen solid boneless skinless thighs in with the sauce on low for 3.5 hrs and it was perfect. No knife needed. All my boys were upset there wasn't more.

Way easier than I would think. Mixing the dough was a snap, although it did get crumbly as others said, Makes a ball nicely. Try to keep them the size of an acorn. I went the traditional route and rolled the baked cookie in confectioners sugar. I didn't think it'd stick well but it did,

I didn't know these were this easy. Mine looked more like pic 1 of 12 and not like the pic shown on the recipe profile. Keep the dough balls 2" apart or they will bake together.

English Muffin Bread

5 stars +++ Do not try to make this harder than it is. It is easy. I let mine rise in the dryer after letting it run for about 3-4 minutes. Works for me every time! I toasted a piece and put cream cheese and a little jam right away.
