Candied Spiced Mixed Nuts

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2005
I hate being the first to try a recipe! I made this twice. Thinking I made it wrong the first time. Well I didn't! The mixture didn't stick to the nuts. It was like eating nuts with little bits of the mixture around. I will not make this again. If someone else tries it... I wish you luck!!

Emily's Famous Marshmallows

Were very good! Mine took longer to dry out, more like 2 days. But that's because I used honey for the sugar!

Didn't cook good! The bread crumbs fell off while cooking. I ended up mashing it all togeather (like eggs) then putting it on bread. My hubby liked it like that!

Very good! I used a can of broccoli cheese soup, about a cup of sour cream, and a hand full of cheese with the mix. Then when after I put everything in the pan I filled it with milk! Very moist and yummy!

Animal Crackers

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2004
Very easy to make and fun to do with the kids! My 6 year old did all the mixing and rolling while the 2 year old loved to help color and cut the dough. We used playdoh cutters to cut the dough. I also added a teaspoon of vanilla to help with the flavor, and added about 1/4 cup more flour. They still didn't have all that much taste but the girls had fun making them. I also made them thicker. So I had the oven at 350 and cooked for about 8-10 min. otherwise the bottoms were burned and the top wasn't cooked. Thanks for the great recipe!
