Pecan Pie IV

I only used a half cup of the corn syrup. I dont like them candy sweet. Turned out perfect and looks amazing. This was my 1st pecan pie. Very happy so far.

It tastes like a warm cinnamon roll. I used less rum and it came out perfect. I thought 2 cups was a little much. So I used one instead and it was awesome. We made this last year and we will be making it this year too. A new family tradition to have it while having appetizers. :-)

Eggless Chocolate Cake II

I cut the recipe in half and it fit and 8 x 8 cake pan. I also added a quarter cup of semi sweet choc chips, and a teaspoon of baking powder. I also used Nesquick cocoa instead of unsweetened cocoa..came out very good..

Salmon with Pineapple Tomato Salsa

Excellent. My husbands new favorite way to have salmon. I also added 3/4 cup quick rice and I cooked it with the salsa. I mixed it all up and put te salmon on the bottom.. it came out perfect.

Apple Pie I

I added 4 TBLS flour I also topped it with hot caramel. 1 Tablespoon cinnamon and 1 teaspoon nutmeg, and a dash of ALLspice and a teaspoon vanilla extract. YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!

Delightful Apple Spice Muffins

Excellent... Very tastey...** Ok a few notes.. I leave it up to you.... - I did the mix, all wet ingredients and then all dry ingredients... A normal muffin like mixture. - I used brown sugar in place of regular sugar, taste better.. - I also used 1 cup of regular flour and 1/2 cup whole wheat.. I imagine you can use all whole wheat, if you like. Up to you... - I have to bake them for longer than 17 mins, I baked them for 20-25 mins and they were perfect. - I also added 1/2 teaspoon NUTMEG, as I ran out of ALLSPICE. :-) Ok.. those my notes...

Outback Onion Soup

Tastes good. Would make a few changes for next time. Leave out the flour and use bread or croutons instead and melt some mozzerella cheese over the top of the bowl like in the restaurant. Very tastey.

Coconut Custard Pie I

Well, it took a LOT longer than 40 mins to bake this pie. Try more like 2 and 1/2 hours. It was not as creamy and thick as I would think a coconut custard pie should be. IF I try it again, I will use heavy whipping cream instead of milk. I have another recipe for custard, I may use that and just add the coconut. Also, I wouls use less sugar. Way too sweet. Maybe try 3/4 of a cup.
