About this Cook
25, married, mother of 1 supremely awesome little girl who loves to help out in the kitchen. Cat owner and guinea pig snuggler. I love reading, painting, cooking, gaming, and crafting. In a military household, so always up for quick and easy foods to save time. Currently a SAHM looking to get back out into the working world. Still learning the ins and outs of baking, but slowly getting there.
My favorite things to cook
Good old fashioned southern food, fun asian dishes, indian food is a favorite of mine.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Big holiday family dinners for us were Easter and Thanksgiving, and the whole family would take part in helping make the food. They are some of my favorite memories.

Old-Fashioned Pancakes
Im still standing at the stove and I can tell you these are the best non-boxed pancakes i have ever had! I added a little vanilla and cinnamon to mine, and these things are awesome.

Mayonnaise Biscuits
Just tried these and honestly they came out much more compact than I would have liked. They are very heavy. The mix is gluey, and I would suggest some serious stirring to make them airier than they are. I'll try the recipe again in a couple of days and see if that makes all the difference. They taste fine otherwise, just really thick.

Healthier No Bake Cookies I
Having a problem getting them to harden properly... even stuck them in the fridge hoping to give them a hand. I was thinking maybe I used the wrong peanut butter? Ive heard that the natural peanut butter is no good for some recipes, so could this be one of them? The mixture tastes great. Just more like sticky goo than actual cookies. -_-
