I'm a single mom to one gorgeous daughter. We both love to cook, although she mostly stirs up whatever I need stirring.

Mexican and Italian. Almost anything in there and I'll cook it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I disappoint my grandmother more than I care to admit. I'm 90% Polish, and just can't get the taste for the polish food. I'm sorry Busha!
My cooking triumphs
Pot Roast - I have come up with a fabulous recipe, I need to submit it here. I am floored every time I taste it!
My cooking tragedies
Learning to sear meat really caused a few heartaches, all that wasted food. My greyhound was well fed that week!

Sarah's Applesauce
I too, made this in my crockpot. What a great recipe, and I had rave reviews from my family. I used three McIntosh Apples, and two Fuji Apples. I did not use all the sugar, did some taste testing and ended up using about 3 TBSPs. I did use 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Excellent and EASY! Thanks!

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup
I made this for my daughter when she had the flu, and she's requested it three times since then! Always always add the vegetable broth, it adds such flavor! After reading the reviews, I also added two cloves of garlic, chopped to the veggies. I keep the noodles separate from the soup, chilled in the fridge. Great soup, thank you!

Asiago Toasted Cheese Puffs
Well I thought this recipe tasted fantastic! I made the spread the night before to save some time. I also cut the loaf of bread the night before, and wrapped that well. When it was time for appetizers, I spread the mixture on the bread, broiled, and YUM! All the guests raved!
