Very good recipe. But the potatoes need to cook longer. Add the peas when the potatoes are almost ready, or else they'll lose their flavor and become too soft. The comments on how to make the ginger paste were really helpful. Will do it again, thank you!

Apple Crumble Pie

DELICIOUS. The best pie I've ever made! I mixed the apples with the cinnamon, half brown half white sugar, pinch nutmeg, and 1/4 cup flour. For the crumble, I added some chopped pecans and mixed brown and white sugar with only 4 tbsp of butter. I'll certainly do it again! Thank you for this wonderful recipe!!

Black Bean Cakes

The cakes were very tasty, but way to soft. It was very hard to turn them over in the pan. I added 2 tsp of cornmeal to the mix, but next time I'll also add 1 egg.

The Old Boy's Strawberry Pie

It was ok, nothing more. It wasn't as runny as I thought it'd be after reading the reviews though. You just have to let it set for a while. I think the strawberries would have been better eaten by themselves.

It was pretty good. A bit crumbly though. I added some curry because I was afraid it might lack spices. I'll do it again, but next time I'll add less sunflower seeds.

This recipe is good, but too time consuming. Although I liked it, I don't think I'll make it again because it takes too much time for a normal day, but doesn't taste wonderful enough if you have guests.

One-Pot Pasta With Tomato, White Beans and Pesto

VERY good! Since I am vegetarian, I used a vegetable bouillon, and it turned out to be very salty. So for the veg ppl: use a low sodium one! This aside, I think 2 small tomatoes are more than enough. It was delicious anyway, and I'll certainly make it again!

Broccoli Quiche with Mashed Potato Crust

My husband wasn't happy when I said I was going to make potatoes and brocoli. But after tasting it he said it was "kickass" and "awesome". He let me give 4 stars, while usually 3 is the best he ever gives even when it is yummy! Will definetly make it again thank you!

Mom's Pumpkin Pie

Delicious! When I was making it, the filling was SO liquid I though it would be a desaster! But while cooking, it started rising like a soufflé, and after cooling it an hour or 2, it was just perfect! I added more cinnamon, and didn't add cloves. I sprinkled some of the topping in Brown Family's Favorite Pumpkin Pie, and used Grandma's Secret Pie Crust.

Easy Mexican Casserole

The taste was pretty good, I used a veggie burger mix instead of meat as we are vegetarian. I only give 3 stars though, because that was one of the heaviest meals we've ever had! Nevertheless, it's tasty and looks pretty, I advise everybody to try it.

Easy Quiche

This quiche is a wonderful start, but you do need to add more vegetables, or else it'll be too "simple". I sauted some green onions in olive oil, and added mushrooms after 5 minutes. Then I added to the mix. I divided the recipe in 2, and cooked only 35 mn. Will do it again =)

French Bread

This bread is the closest to french baguette I made, but it still not *it*. I heard it has to be baked in a steam oven, so I placed some ice cubes on the bottom of the oven. The rack wasn't long enough, so the bread ended up too high and didn't cook all the way in the middle. Be sure to make it quite long. As a bread, it's very good, but it's not quite a baguette.
