Buttercream Icing

I prefer to use heavy whipping cream instead of milk. It seems to add a richness to a very discriminate palette.

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

Ever had a carrot cake where you could see the ingredients? THis is it. And the flavor, omg. This cake doesn't slice clean because of the ingredients but who cares. Muffins work best.

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

this is by far, the best banana bread, just don't forget to add the cinammon left out of the recipe. You end up with moist, flavorful bread that will NOT last.

Beignets

Followed the recommendiations of letting it rise and also the cinammon roll dough. I have to say this in my new recipe for cinammon rolls. The secret to great cinammon rolls, fyi is brown sugar and real butter.

Lemon Poppy Seed Bundt Cake

This wasn't the recipe I was hoping for. It would, however, make a great bread or muffin. I tried making it also the opposite, yellow cake mix and vanilla pudding, same great taste but took "breadish", if thats a word.

Sopapilla Cheesecake

This is a no brainer and super, super easy. If your family is crazy for cinammon, then turn to this one every time. I use my stand up mixer to whip the sugar and cream cheese. i also added lemon extract once instead of vanilla and it gave it a zesty flavor.

Buttermilk Pound Cake II

This reminds me of the bundt cakes at the store, same texture, size and eye appeal; with one BIG difference, it tastes HOMEMADE, definately not a traditional poundcake, but then again, sometimes pound cakes are sooo overrated! WTG, a chef in the making. I served it warm with no icing, sliced fresh strawberries and whipped cream. DELICIOUS!

Absolutely The Best Shrimp Scampi

flavor is great, but needs more sauce. Try maybe the chicken stock and some wine for that, the flavors are so attractive, the stock and wine should not take away from the "flavor".
