Almond-Topped Fish

This is a great recipe. If your tempted to use a mayonnaise other than the fat free, I can tell you the fat free is actually better when mixed with the other ingredients than the regular mayo. I tried them both and the fat free made a better sauce for the fish.

Marinated Steak

First marinate that my whole family loved, I don't eat meat but everyone who ate this steak said it was very good. The only thing I did different was to broil instead of grill and mainated for 2 hours instead of 4

these hold there shape well. I used a small package of sugar free jello. Add 5 ounce of hot water to every small (.3oz.)(8.5g) box of sugar free gelatin.

Italian Torte

thanks for this recipe, the only thing I didn't like was the sun-dried tomatoes. I had never used sun-dried tomatoes before. I don't like the texture of them. The left over tort I placed the layers on flour tortilla shell rolled then sliced.

Broccoli Squares

very tasty, it's like a veggie pizza with a cheese sauce. I was able to use all the cheese sause by putting a heaping 1/3 cup on each rectangle. To keep the vegetable toppings from falling off gentle press them into the cheese topping just enough to hold them on. I don't know how this makes 12 servings, when the recipe only uses 8 rectangles from 2 rolls (4 rectangles each roll) the next time I make this I will use all lower calorie ingredients. This one is loaded with calories.

Homemade Mac and Cheese

I doubled the serving size from 4 to 8. Eight servings call for 6 cups of milk, I only used 4 cups and didn't have any problems with the consistency. I also added 1/2 block of cream cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella, and tablespoon of mayo. I added salt and onion powder to the pasta before combining the sauce with it.

Breaded Hamburgers

I don't eat meat, but my husband said it was good. The onions soften as the cook, so they don't support the burgers up out of the water. My burgers produced more oil while cooking in the oven so there was more liquid and the burgers got soggy on the bottom. I flipped them over and placed under the broiler till they weren't soggy. I'll cook this again but next time I'll use a broiler pain to hold the burgers up away from the juices.

Winter Vegetable Hash

A little dry, but delicious. Did take the advise of other reviews and added the squash in with the potatoes, and added the kale in earlier. The recipe doesn't state if the potatoes should be peeled. I didn't peel and next time I will.

Sausage Balls

My husband loved these, I didn't try them because I don't eat meat. He said these were the best. I did mix the cheese with the sausage after leaving the sausage out of the refridg, for about 40 min. Then added the biscuit mix.

New Potatoes with Caper Sauce

Very good flavor, but was too dry for me. The next time I use this recipe, I want toss to coat, instead I will layer potatoes, cut in half, then do a layer of caper sauce. Do layers till all is gone.

Lit'l Smokies® With Bacon

The problem I had with this recipe was the brown sugar melted and began to caramelize before the bacon was done. The brown sugar was over cooked by the time the bacon was brown. The next time I cook them I'll cook half way then springle with the brown sugar.

Gravy Baked Pork Chops

used a family pack of smoked pork chops, and 3/4 of can of milk, from the empty soup can, instead of what was in the ingredients. omited the water. Cooked soup and milk in pan till mixed well together then poured onto the pork chops, cooked for 35min. I'm not a meat eater But the gravy was good and husband said it was a good dish, the gravy was still very thin even with omiting the water.

Banana Pudding IV

rich and creamy pudding, had a good flavor. I used the 2 boxes of 3.75oz with 3 cups of milk , it was thicker than the old fashion banana pudding that I'm used to. The custord of the pudding reminded me of the filling in the banana twin cakes.

Creamy Lemon Pie I

This pie has a very good flavor. The directions say to chill the pie, it was a little too soft in the refrigerator but was good when left if the freezer.
