Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2014
I just made these using olive oil since I didn't happen to have any duck fat on hand. I also used Yukon gold and red potatoes. Turned out FANTASTIC!! Will make again and again!! :) Thanks!

The Best Banana Bread

I took the rum suggestion another step further... I soaked 1/2 cup raisins in Knob Creek Bourbon for 48 hours and added them and the liquid....it turned out supremely moist with a deliciously enhanced flavor! We really enjoyed it and will do that exact thing again!! :)

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2009
I made the roux and then set it aside. Simmered the cut, baked (microwaved potatoes) in the onion, garlic, and broth. Added extra ground red pepper, because we like it spicy. Put it all together and voila! :) We loved it!!! :)
