About this Cook
I am a SAHM of three little ones and absolutely love cooking new things for my family. Luckily all the kids are great eaters and will try anything you put in from of them so my options of trying new things is never limited. Nothing satisfies me more then to hear "wow, that was delicious" and to see the plates empty.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook any and all types of beef.. Meat and taters are a staple in this house. Casseroles are a wonderful fit into our hectic life and I try to make at least two new casseroles a month just for variety. I love comfort food and when I can get them to taste like grandmas I give myself a pat on the back :)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holiday dinners are huge in our family. We start planning for the holiday meal far ahead to make sure its absolutely perfect.
My cooking triumphs
My biggest cooking triumph has been when my husband tried my turkey and let me know he never liked turkey before but mine was AWESOME!! We now have turkey every few months :)
My cooking tragedies
I want to learn how to make biscuits "just like grandmas" and end up with hockey pucks only heavier every time.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan
This recipe was AMAZING!! I only added some garlic and a smidge of dill to the original recipe and it was an instant family favorite.. I have toddlers and they ate it and asked for seconds!! This dish is now going into my recipe box!! Thanks so much for an absolute delicious dish!!

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IV
These are the absolute best oatmeal raisin cookies I have ever baked. The soaking the raisins is something that that you shouldn't skip. They get so plump and make the cookies what they are. The only change I have made was adding extra cinnamon. This of course is a personal preference of my family. One thing to definately remember is to ALWAYS let your butter soften at room temperature. Trying to rush it by putting it in the microwave is going to result in flat cookies every time!! Thanks for the recipe its a keeper!!

GrannyLin's Barbeque Ribs Made Easy
Good base recipe for bbq ribs if you tweek a few things. I can not imagine cooking these for 8 hours. After 4 they were super done and anything over that and it would of been bbq mush. If you cook for 4 hours and add more spices to your liking you should be ok.
