Kung Pao Chicken

Really enjoyed this. I made a few changes; I wasn't able to find hot chile paste so substituted it with hot chile sauce and used apple juice instead of the white wine. If I had read the reviews prior to making this, I would have also doubled the sauce. Thanks.

Alternative Baked Salmon

I thought I would enjoy this recipe because I love salmon, but I thought the flavors of the crust were just too overpowering. I did use crushed herb seasoned stuffing cubes vs. the breadcrumbs, although I don't think that would have a lot to do with it. The majority seems to like it so it could just be my personal tastes. Thanks anyway.

I agree with the subtle taste. I marinated the chicken for about 7 hours and it hardly had the flavor I was expecting. It was good, but just ordinary.

This was a GREAT marinade! I was so surprised at how flavorful my chicken was after marinating for only one hour. I can just imagine how this would taste after marinating several hours longer. Thanks for a terrific recipe!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Great for the garlic lover. This came out tender, juicy, and I enjoyed the crispiness of it. The cheese firms up into bits which add a nice subtle flavor to the chicken.

Chicken with Tomatillos and Poblanos

This is a very colorful and SPICY dish. I also loved the salsa, which had a thick, yet smooth consistency. Although I enjoy spicy dishes, I think next time I will reduce the amount of chiles or seed them. Thanks!

Best Spinach Dip Ever

This is a pretty good spinach dip. I wasn't able to find dry leek soup mix so substituted it with dry onion soup mix and also used reduced fat mayo.

Broccoli Beef II

We thought this was good... not exactly like take-out, but good. I left out the mushrooms (thought I had some but didn't) and used spaghetti noodles instead of linguine. The meat itself seemed to lack a little bit of flavor but everything else, especially the noodles, were tasty. If I make this again, I'll add some sliced yellow onions.

Salsa II

This is a great, flavorful and SPICY salsa! As others, I seeded some of the jalapenos but think next time I'll adjust the ratio for an even milder taste. Either way, I enjoyed this and if you like it hot, you'll love it!

Beans and Rice

This was good but very salty, which I'm sure was an error on my part; I didn't have seasoning salt so made my own (which had a high ratio of salt to begin with). Other than the saltiness of it, I enjoyed this and will attempt to make it again with purchased seasoning salt! Thanks.

Carne Asada Marinade

My husband stated that this was the best marinade that we've used, to date. Very good and very easy. I was only able to marinate it for close to 1 1/2 hours so prior to placing the meat (I used sirloin) into the marinade, I used a fork to prick holes into it so that the marinade would penetrate more easily. I also used regular Olive Oil instead of EVOO, because it was all that I had at the time.

Overnight Blueberry French Toast
