Sesame Shrimp Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2006
Delicious meal that was a hit with everyone. It's a little spicy, so beware. Will have this over and over.

Simple Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2006
Really excellent! One of our favorites. If you aren't a spicy person, this isn't for you. At our house we top it with grated cheddar and corn chips. Sooo yummy.

Good flavor, but couldn't get them to crisp.

Grilled Marinated Shrimp

A huge hit at my house. My husband especially liked it, which is saying something. Will make it again.

Baked Salmon Fillets Dijon

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2006
This didn't turn out very well. The "thin layer of dijon" can't be stressed enough. I think I layed it on too thickly. The bread crumb topping never got crunchy, and the fish that didn't have any dijon on it was bland. I have other salmon recipes I like better, so I probably won't try this one again

Alfredo Blue

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2006
I added sundried tomatoes too, but didn't have any Italian seasoning. I live in Spain, and Italian seasoning isn't available here. Next time I'll just add more salt, because it really did need something extra. I also added left over grilled chicken. It was good, but the Italian seasoning would probably make it great.

JENNIE-O's Best Ever Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2006
I recently cut red meat out of my diet and was looking for a good meatloaf recipe made with turkey or chicken. My husband is a huge meatloaf lover and was very leary of a non-beef version. He loved it! Said he liked it better than my usual beef meatloaf. I added dijon and brown sugar to the ketchup mixture. Really great

German Potato Pancakes

Loved these. My polish grandpa used to make a similar recipe when I was a child. These are as close as I've been able to find.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2006
Not bad, but not the best pork chop recipe I've tried either. My husband didn't like it much either. I think grilling the chops first might add some flavor.

Asparagus Appetizers

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2006
I served these to 50 at an international women's event and they were a big hit with everyone. I was a little worried that the blue cheese would be overwhelming so I spread the mixture pretty thin. I wished I'd been more liberal with it. Also, serve these hot, as they tend to lose their crispness as they cool. Still not bad though! I'll definitely make them again.

Absolutely The Best Shrimp Scampi

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2004
I thought this recipe was especially greasy and bland. I give it 3 stars only because I accept some responsibility for possibly not doing something correctly. My husband liked it better than I did, but I thought it needed something.

Broccoli and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2004
This is a familiar recipe I have tried before with the only change being the tortellini. I thought the dressing needs less sugar for a smoother consistency. I added another 1/2 cup of mayo. Also, the proportions were huge. I cut down the tortellini to 8oz. and sunflower seeds to a small package.

Arrabbiata Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2004
This sauce turned out great. I didn't have any pepper flakes, but it was still good. I really like spicy food though, so next time I'll definitely add some. I added fresh mozarella at the end so it would just start to melt, and it was gooood. Thanks!

Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2004
My husband and I really loved this recipe! He's a very picky eater, especially when it comes to fish, and he raved! I almost didn't make the beer batter, but decided to give it a try. It was amazingly light and very tasty. The dill sauce was awesome.
