Broccoli Cheese Soup V

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2011
I took some others advice and halved the recipe and it was still plenty! I also used about half velveeta and half sharp cheddar. It was a really good soup. I will be making this again!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2011
These are the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever made. For some reason I could never get the Tollhouse recipe to come out right. I had some Dove peanut butter/chocolate baking pieces and I wanted a really good cookie recipe to use them in. This one was great! Thank you for my new go to chocolate chip cookie recipe. I used the recipe exactly as written (minus the walnuts) although I do want to try it with the ground oatmeal next time.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
These cookies are delicious! Everyone I gave them to loved them. They are so soft and yummy. I took other reviewers advice and used the orange juice and let the dough chill before I tried to roll them. I have made 3 batches in a week. They are a great Christmas cookie.

Chicken Noodle Soup II

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2009
This soup turned out really good, I took some other posters advice and used about half homemade chicken stock and half store bought stock. I cooked 4 chicken breasts with carrots, celery, onion strained and shredded the chicken. Sauteed carrot and celery in the bottom of pan for just a couple minutes added homemade stock and box stock, cooked until veggies were tender, added half the chicken (used the other half chicken in a chicken salad) and noodles. The noodles were chewy but I rolled them as thin as I could get them. Some people loved the chewy thick noodles and others didn't but everyone like the flavor of the soup. It was a hit! I can't wait to make it again. Next time I will either use store bought noodles or use my dad's pasta maker to get the dough really thin

Peanut Butter Chicken Skewers

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
I thought this chicken was pretty good. I had never had any kind of peanut chicken before so really had nothing to compare it to but I did think it was quite tasty. My husband did not like it all and my daughter wouldn't eat it either, but she's 2 so I don't put a whole lot of stock into what she won't eat.

Chicken Pot Pie VIII

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2008
This pot pie was really good! I only gave it a 4 because I made some changes. I read the reviews and saw that it made too much filling so I halved the filling. I melted 1/2 cup butter, added flour, cooked a minute, added grated onion, salt and pepper, gradually added in 1 1/2 cups chicken stock cook and stirred until thickened...then I added a spoonful of sour cream, 10 oz semi thawed frozen mixed vegetables (if buy the box make sure you let them sit out so you can stir them in the mixture), shredded chicken, half cooked potatoes and I used biscuit topping, 2 cups bisquick, 1 cup milk and 2 eggs but it was really too much topping so will half that next time too. I will definitely make this again.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2008
This was very good...I am not much of a recipe follower so just kind of dumped all the ingredients in and whipped it up, but if you like parmesan cheese this is delicious...even my 2 year old ate it, even if she did call it chicken!
