Muffuletta Sandwich

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2007
WOW! I thought I'd go out on a whim and try this... I went to the grocery, got home, threw it all together (in no time) and it was GREAT! Instead of olives (don't care for them on sandwiches) I used banana peppers AND I heated it in the over for about 10 mins. so the cheese would melt and the bread would get just a little crispy. Loved it and so did my husband! Thanks for sharing!!

Slow Cooker Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2008
I made this soup and WOW! I loved it! I know a lot of the other reviews said that it was "plain" or had little taste, but the parsley, salt and pepper did it for me. I always add sour cream, cheese, and bacon bits to my potato soup per bowl anyway. My father-in-law was here when I made it and he said "Man, you're holding back on your cooking. This is great!" And my husband even said he liked it better than the potato soups we've had at restaurants. I didn't tell them where I got the recipe... heehee. ;) By the way, DON'T even try skinning 8 lbs. of potatoes... that HAD TO be a typo. I skinned and cubed about 7-8 and that was clearly enough! Great with cornbread! Thanks for the GRRRREAT recipe! I'll use it again and again.

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2011
ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! I made this for Thanksgiving and it was GONE in no time! Now I'm making it again for a Christmas dinner this weekend. Instead of sunflower seeds I used shaved almonds, because that's what I had at the time, it was great! I used red wine vinegar instead of white, again, because that's what I had. I also added some shredded cheese for more color. Thanks for this GREAT recipe!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars IV

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2008
One word: Yummy! I'm a fudge lover, and I think I like this just as well, if not better. I know one thing, it was much easier to make! I've tried fudge - for some reason it never turned out like my mom's. *sigh* I loved this though! My husband thought it would take us forever to eat it because of the richness... HA! It was gone in a day or two. I knew it would be!

Cheese Ball I

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2006
I had to edit my review from a few years ago when I first made it, and add a photo... I found the recipe again and made it into a snowman (pictured)! Just as I did before, I added NOTHING to this recipe, went by it exactly and had people from work say "I don't even like cheeseballs but I love that one! Send me the recipe!" Then they were amazed what little was in it but how GOOD it was! Making another snowman for Christmas with the family ;) Thanks again for a GREAT and SIMPLE recipe!

Cheese Blintzes

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2005
THIS WAS GREAT! Messy and a little time consuming - but well worth it! I took it to work and everyone just went on and on about it, and no one could believe that it was made using white bread! I added a little cinnamon and sugar to the cheese mixture as well and it turned out great! Thank you for sharing!

Cracker Candy

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2005
This recipe was GREAT! And even better, it was EASY and very pretty when put in a nice dish. I took it to work and it was all gone in no time! And they couldn't believe that it was just saltine crackers! I'll definitely use this again and again! Thanks for sharing!
