Mexican Style Shredded Pork

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2009
Very good! I used an extra can of chillis and used the Tabasco chipolte sauce. I've made it with the roast like the recipe calls for, but have also made it with a variety of pork cuts (like chops) and that was good also. We ate it in tortillas with refried beans and mexican rice. Just as good as the resturants!

Blueberry Crisp II

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2009
I followed the directions, but this did not turn out for me. The topping was just some greasy lumps and the berry part was really runny. I don't plan on making it again.

Cinnamon Cream Cheese Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
Wonderful recipe! I had bought some cinnamon chips and was deciding how to use them. This was definitely the right way!

Greek Salad III

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
This recipe was pretty good. I doubled the red wine vinegar and lemon juice in the dressing, but it still seemed like just too much olive oil.

Blueberry Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
This sauce had a great taste. I gave it only 4 stars though, because I thought it was more like a syrup - not a sauce.

No Bake Cookies II

Reviewed: May 11, 2007
I've been looking for a recipe like this for a while (one without peanut butter). These set up nicely but they weren't the best. Next time I will definitely try some of the other reviewers suggestion - like more cocoa and less sugar. They weren't very chocolately and were kind of grainy.

Super Fajita Marinade

Reviewed: May 11, 2007
Mine turned out VERY bland. I marinaded my meat for 20 hours and all I could taste was lime.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2007
Great recipe! I started by pouring 1/2 the teriyaki over the chicken. I then used the rest to bast it a few times during cooking (I thought every 10 minutes was too labor intensive). The underside that was sitting in the teriyaki was very moist and flavorful but not carmelized like the side that was just basted - so I can see the point of only basting it. But either way it was very good. Thanks for the recipe!

Blueberry-Lemon Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2006
This recipe turned out good - it just wasn't gooey enough for my taste. My sister couldn't stop eating it thought! If you like bars with a shortbread-type crust, this recipe is for you.

Yummy Blueberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2006
This definitely lives up to its name. I agree with the other reviews though, you can really cut down on the sugar that is called for. I use 3/4 cup on each part (1 1/2 total for the whole recipe) and it comes out great. And that is also using wild Alaska blueberries which are alot more tart that the kind you buy at the store. My mom has made this same recipe using rhubarb for many years.

Cassie's Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2006
I loved these brownies. I have made them twice, and while they turned out different both times, both ways were great. I first time I made them I dried the zucchini well and it resulted in a fudgy brownie. The second time my zucchini had more moisture in it and the result was a more cake like brownie. I can't wait to see what I get the third time!

Southern Living magazine's Venison Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2006
My family and I did not care for this chili. It was a little too sweet (presumably from the beer) and did not have enough tomato flavor.
