Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is the best chocolate chip cookie ever. Instead of softening the butter I cut the butter into smaller sizes so it's easier to mix. Used 1 tablespoon of vanilla and also added cream of tarter as someone else had suggested to give the cookie a crack appearance vs a smooth top. I also added the baking soda to the dry mix and added room tempature water vs hot water after I added the eggs. Baked at a higher tempature 375 to keep the cookies from spreading. Better than Toll House cookies.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

These cookies are very tasty. I did make a change - instead of 1 cup of white sugar I used 1/2 cup of light brown sugar and 1/2 cup of white sugar. Also to prevent the cookies from spreading when baking I baked them at a higher temperature 375 degrees. Definitely making these cookies again.
