Artichoke and Sun-Dried Tomato Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2007
I really liked this recipe. I did as others had suggested by adding garlic and onion. I served with a boxed alfredo noodle side. I figured that at the time, the kids would eat the noodles if they didn't like the chicken but it went over big with everyone. I will keep this recipe for a long time.

Creamy Artichoke Pasta

Reviewed: May 18, 2007
WOW!! Talk about flavor! Everyone loved this from my toddler to my husband. This was easy to prepare. I didn't have any cottage cheese, so I substituted some jar alfredo. I also skipped the sour cream.

Quick Greek Pasta Salad with Steak

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2007
This is excellent. I made it a little before I was actually serving so teh pasta could soak up the sauce flavor. No shallots, so I used a little mild onion. I also substituted parsley adn basil for a little jared pesto, same brand as the tomato pesto.

Antipasto Squares

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2007
Wonderful. Easy and tasty. I didn't have red peppers, so I improvised. I mixed green olives minced with black olives, minced, with a little red hots, the kind you get in a hoagie sandwich. The jar says they are called pickled, crushed red peppers. I also pre cooked the bottom crust. This was not soggy at all. It reminded me of a mufalata.

Basic Crepes

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2007
Easy and simple. I followed recipe as written with flour and eggs mixed together and ended up with a very lumpy mix. i still used it just strained out the lumps. I made it again a couple of days later and mixed all the dry ingredients first then the wet and it came out perfect. I also used sugar free pudding mix, vanilla w/ fresh bananas and caramel topping and cheesecake. with strawberry jam and powered sugar. Very Yummy recipe. True keeper.

Rum or Bourbon Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2006
I was actually worried because what i thought was a whole box of vanilla wafers was only 1 cup worth of crumbs. I added tea cookie crumbs and added 1 tsp of vanilla to the rum. I also remember people saying that the balls were grainy so I divided the rum and melted the sugar into the rum in the micorwave. This was really very easy although somewhat time consuming. I will definately make these again. Great for gifts.

Seasoned Crackers

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2006
This is soo easy and really tasty. I used 2 12oz boxes and they were all evenly coated. I really liked that they were not greasy like I thought they may have been if i only used 1 box of crackers. i dived this up and gave as part of a gift basket.

Very good. I omitted the sugar and added another 1/4 c of reg milk because I found it to stiff. I guess it depends on the size of your potatoes huh?

Caramel Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2006
I never would have thought I could have made a pecan pie. Using caramels is a great short cut. I had a very hard time not eating it all at one time. This is so yummy. My husband even asked me to make this for Thanksgiving this year.

Karyn's Cream of Crab Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2006
This was good. Not quite what I was used to eating out. It seemed a little off some how. I did cut back on the Old Bay some. It still seemed a little too much and I love Old Bay. We even put it in our fried chicken.

Wow!! I wasn't sure I'd like this at all but I wanted to try something new. It was fantastic. I cut up turkey cutlets instead of chicken. I also used store bought hummus with roasted garlic. I will eat this tonight for dinner too.

Cola Sauerkraut

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2006
This was great. I did modify a little...I started out with margerine and sauted the onions until translucent, then I added real bacon bits as well as black pepper. I added the sauerkraut and diet cola with a large pinch of white sugar. After a few moments of simmering I added a 1/2 teaspoon of dried red peppers to perk it up a little bit. Everyone enjoyed it with their pork roast. Thanks for the great recipe.
