Giant Crisp Chocolate Chip Cookies

Used shortening instead of butter, and accidently added too much water. Didn't seem to make a difference. Cookies turned out crispy just was I wanted. Cookie dough was a little bland. Might add more vanilla next time.

Quick and Easy Brownies

I made these brownies on a double date. Decided to add about 1 cup of chocolate chips for some extra chocolate goodness and it turned out great. It wasn't too sweet; the cocoa powder gave it just enough flavor. The texture was a bit cakey and a bit fudgy, but not too crumbly. Everyone who tried them said they were different from any brownies they had before, but LOVED them!
