Cream Corn Like No Other
I absolutely loved it! Everyone had big second helpings. This is definitely creamed corn like no other. I was out of heavy cream, so I used evaporated milk. It came out very creamy and delicious. I think with the heavy cream it would be a bit too rich. These were creamy, sweet (but not too sweet), and had a slightly cheesy taste to them. Absolute perfection!

Southern Candied Sweet Potatoes
This recipe was absolutely amazing! I didn't change a thing, and it was fabulous. The kids said it tasted like candy. They were sweet, but not too sweet and not at all watery. In fact, we were worried at first that there might not be enough liquid with just the butter, but it was perfect. From the pictures on this site they look really gross and mushy. You do want to be careful when you stir that you don't squish or mash them. They are very soft, but not at all watery or mushy. 5 stars! Note: I just added a photo of them...

Caramel Apple Pie II
This pie was amazing! It was very delicious, and a definite make-again recipe, with only a few changes. I was concerned about the pie being runny, so I added a tablespoon of flour to the 3 tablespoons of flour in the apple mixture. I also added a couple extra apples. It came out perfectly. I poked holes in the crust and pre-baked it 10-12 minutes before I layered the taffy, apple, and caramels. Next time, I would probably use a caramel dip that was pre-made, but only for convenience. The caramel candies worked fine. They melted really well, when I cut them into quarters. Definitely seal the top of the pie well so that the caramels don't seep out. I would definitely recommend this recipe. The caramel flavor is not super strong, but it adds a delicious twist to the typical apple pie.
