Chocolate Zucchini Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2004
These are yummy - so moist. Great way to use up all the extra zucchini. I used margarine. I added chocolate chips. I think next time I will include some pecans. Very good - they won't last long at our house!

Bread Machine Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2004
Didn't rise well at all. Very disappointed. I did use more garlic as was suggested, but I most likely will not make this bread again.

Both my husband and I love this recipe. So easy - I usually have to bake it a bit longer though.

Very easy and very tasty - I did add some garlic and used beef broth instead of water. This one is a keeper!

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2004
This one is a sure keeper! I did drain the kidney beans and I didn't use quite 2 cups of water as we like our Taco soup thick. Served it with cornbread muffins. Leftovers heat up nicely in the microwave.

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2005
This one is a sure keeper. I used a boneless loin roast about 2 1/2 pounds, so cut other ingredients in half as well. Didn't have brewed coffee, used instant crystals - worked great. Add your favorite barbecue sauce to this and you will see how fast it disappears!! Great, thanks for sharing.

Black Pepper Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2005
Our family loved this recipe - I did make a few changes,as others had suggested. I added some onion, which I browned with the beef and pepper strips - also used beef broth in place of water. I added some sesame oil and a bit of hot sauce. Served it over rice. There were no leftovers. We have a garden and the cabbage is at it's peak, so we will be enjoying this again soon. Thanks Pearlie.

Cookie in a Jar

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2006
This makes great gift for special people. I baked them first to see if we liked them - they didn't last very long. We do have a family that doesn't like nuts, so I substituted M&M's - worked great. I made several jars for Christmas, using Christmas fabric for the tops. Everyone loved them. Thanks for sharing.

Almond Crunch

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2006
It really needs more than 5 stars!! I covered the cookie sheet with buttered foil, then I sprinkled a bit of ground almonds on that. Also I didn't have any milk chocolate chips so used Hershey bars. That worked well - after spreading the chocolate, I sprinkled a little ground almonds on top - yummy - made three batches for Christmas. Christmas night it was all gone. Thanks for sharing.

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2012
I would give this more stars if possible - I sometimes use half broccoli and half cauliflower - I do use craisins - everywhere I've taken it - there are no leftovers. Thanks for a great recipe
