Cream of Spinach Soup

The other spinach soup I rated was the wrong one. This is the good one. Substituted a little finely minced onion for the dried. Grated a little nutmeg into it and used chicken broth instead of water & bouillon. This was EXCELLENT!!!!

Creamy Spinach Soup

This was super. I used a little real onion minced finely instead of dried stuff but you have to mince it finely. Added a pinch of cayenne powder & grated some nutmeg in it. Super yummo!

Creamed Spinach II

This is soo yummy to be so quick. Didn't have cream of mushroom so I used cream of onion but as another reviewer said, I imagine you could use any "cream of" soup. Instead of garlic salt I used salt, pepper to taste and smidgen of minced garlic and grated a little nutmeg in. YUMALICIOUS

Herbed Potato Wedges

Very very good. Will make these again. Great microwavable item. Next time I will try arranging in baking dish & brushing the juice/butter on & then sprinkling on the dry stuff.

Banana Peanut Butter Bread

Such great flavor!! I read all the reviews & made following adjustments...3 very ripe bananas; 3/4 cup crunchy peanut butter (left out the walnuts--had it been smooth would have left in walnuts); 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour; and added 1/8 tsp. salt; all other ingredients as is. Covered with aluminum foil after baking for 30-40 mins to keep from getting too brown for rest of bake time. Just soooooo yummy!

Never-Ever-Fail Meringue

This made PERFECT meringue;...just as a precaution I broke my eggs & stuck whites in fridge, while I did step 1. Then after to cool the cornstarch mixture, I stuck it in fridge, while I completed step 2. This is the 1st meringue I've ever made that DID NOT WEEP. I did leave in oven about 15-18 mins. to get browner though & it was perfect.
