I've been making this for some time now. It's a very good recipe as is. To those who think it's too runny the next day, try mixing it up again to redistribute the dressing. Also, keep in mind that not all dressings are thick. The buttermilk gives it a nice tang along with the vinegar (I like rice wine vinegar--mild) and the lemon juice (which really brightens the flavor). All in all, my favorite cole slaw recipe.
