Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2013
Great weeknight recipe! I used white wine vinegar because I didn't have any red wine vinegar. It was still very good but I would recommend cutting down on the sugar a little if you use that substitution. I served over egg noodles. The whole family loved it and made left overs!

You will never know it's made out of tofu if you use a good quality semi-dark chocolate

Mediterranean Quinoa Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2013
Very good! I left out the chicken and added cucumbers, subbed green onions for red onion, yellow bell pepper, and halved cherry tomatoes, hearts of palm. Didn't really adhere to quantities in recipe - just made a huge batch. I also didn't use this dressing, I used another greek dressing recipe from this site. Yummo! Definitely adding this one to the rotation.

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2012
Perfect for fall & winter nights! It makes a ton of chowder. I also increased the clams to 3 cans minced clams and 2 cans of whole clams. I also used clam juice instead of water (it took the whole 8 oz. bottle). I took other users advise and browned 5 strips of bacon before sauteed the vegetables and crumbled the bacon & chives over the top when served. I will use a little more bacon next time and maybe even one more can of clams. It was fabulous! Thank you!

Shredded Chicken Tacos

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
These were delicious! I didn't use any of the chili or hot sauce because my husband's allergic. I also didn't brown the chicken first. I just cut it into cubes and threw it in with the sauce to simmer a while. The whole family liked it, even the picky 4 year old.

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
Yummy! These are beautiful, easy, and delicious! My kids loved them! I used vanilla extract instead of almond b/c I didn't have almond and I thought the kids might like them that way. I was right! Big hit! Thanks for the recipe!

Yummy! I really enjoyed this. I'm not a huge meatloaf fan but I think this is just as good as beef meatloaf. My husband and my kids, 6 & 4, really liked it too. Good weeknight meal. Thank you!

Pollo Fajitas

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2010
These are wonderful! I was suspicious because of the unusual, non-mexican, ingredients but they turned out great! I didn't use any of the spicy stuff because I served it to children. Also used fresh lime juice in both the marinade and while cooking. Yummy! Thank you!

Baked Sweet Potato Sticks

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
Yummy - these are delicious! I didn't do it right - I way overcrowded my pan and cut them to skinny but they were still yummy! Next time I'll try to make more of a wedge shape and use less so they won't overlap on the pan.
