Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2013
I love this recipe as does my family, my boyfriend asks me for them all the time! I did increase the brown sugar to 1.5 cups, as others have mentioned, and i often add some cinnamon just cuz i love the stuff. My cookies do flatten out sometimes (maybe my butter is too soft sometimes?), but Ive found that refrigerating the dough an hr before baking keeps it from happenng.

Creamy Frosting

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2013
I really liked this recipe and would like to give it a 4.5 if possible, didn't give it a 5 because I had to add 3x the vanilla to make it taste less like butter and the milk/flour mixture, but that really improved the flavor. Next time I may add less of the milk/flour mixture, because I found that although it did provide a great texture, it did impact the flavor quite a bit. I left my butter sit for ~1hr 15min at room temp until it was easily pressed down by a fork, and let the milk/flour mixture cool almost the same amount of time, and the texture was fabulous, very creamy and melt in your mouth :)

Red Velvet Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2013
I followed the recipe exactly, and though I did like it and they were finished quickly, I think something is missing to make this a 5 star cupcake. I will try more chocolate or greek yogurt next time, but overall a good recipe that will please. I did not use the cream cheese frosting, as no one in my family likes this type of frosting, but did make a vanilla frosting (using granulated sugar, butter, vanilla, and a milk/flour mixture), and it complemented well.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2013
great base for a muffin, I usually use brown sugar instead of white, and unsweetened apple sauce for the oil, I have also used lactose free milk, and half wheat/half white flour, and each time it tastes great!!! I have only done the topping once, and I enjoyed it, but unfortunately I am the only one with the sweet tooth in my family :( , so I usually leave it out.
