I have been married for six years to my wonderful husband and have two little boys and a girl. I work with Campus Crusade for Christ and also get to be a stay at home mom, which I love. I *love* to bake--baked goods and desserts are not only my weakness but also my art. Baking cookies, cakes, and desserts for parties and company I made my first wedding cake in Dec. 2005. It consisted of six cakes--two red velvet, two carrot, and two white--each on tiered pedestals, covered in white frosting and red roses. I was pretty impressed with myself. I've also won the top prize for baked goods at our county fair twice. Many times, just before I'm about to entertain someone for dinner, whatever I'm cooking overflows in my oven and fills my house with smoke and ruins what I'm making. It's really frustrating.
