About this Cook
I have always enjoyed cooking, both of my parents are excellent cooks, well, my dad was a chef before he retired. I attended cullinary school in Toronto and after graduation moved to Massachusetts. I managed a restaraunt in NY City and then settled back on the Cape.
My favorite things to cook
My faforite foods to make are foods that make my freinds and family happy. I enjoy all types of cultural cooking from Italian to Thia.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Belgian waffles with the kids every Sunday morning!
My cooking triumphs
Catered our own wedding, including making the wedding cake. After I did this, I would never recommend anyone to take on the extra stress on a wedding day.
My cooking tragedies
hhhhhmmmmmm..... I guess that would be the day that I made home made bricks. The recipe I was using called it bread, but thats not what came out of the oven.

Waffles I
These were the best waffles, so much that I will not even buy a mix from now on. You do have to beat the eggs for about 8-10 minutes so they are really light. I did increase the sugar to 1/4 cup and added it to the eggs ads I was beating them. You have to make sure your waffle iron is very hot, and they are so light and crisp, they are just amazing!!
