I made this for my 6 yr. old step-sister's birthday party and it was a HUGE hit. I made a 13X9" cake and placed whole strawberries the entire way around it so that everyone got a berry with their cake. I will defininely use this recipe again.

Nana's Fastnachts

These were EXCELLENT. My husband is PA Dutch and grew up eating these every Shrove Tuesday. We moved to an area where you can't get them so I made them this year, they are difficult but well worth the effort. My husband said that they were the best fastnachts he ever had and that's saying a lot!

King Ranch Chicken Casserole I

My husband has had to take over cooking lately and he thought this was just about the easiest "throw it together" casserole he's ever made. Crush the chips a bit for easier eating. Very good.

Doughnut Muffins

Olive Oil Bread

This was the easiest yeast bread I've ever made. It makes a fairly small loaf so if your having company I would recommend making two loaves. I took this to a church dinner and there was none left at the end of the evening.

Lemon Bread

This bread has a lovely pound cake texture. I poked holes in it before pouring the glaze over. Sir the glaze ingredients very well before using but don't skip using it. It makes the bread what it is.

Grandma's Slow Cooker Vegetarian Chili

This was the best chili my husband said he ever had and that is saying a lot!! I cut back on the basil and added half a jar of left over salsa. We even used the leftovers to make nachos. Mmmmm.
