Masala Chai Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2011
These are delicious! I used sucanat instead of white sugar, coconut oil instead of canola oil, and made a strong rooibos chai tea. I am going to try with whole wheat flour next time.

Raspberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2008
Not bad. We tried it with fresh peaches instead of kiwis since that's what we had. The whole family liked it! Will be making this again!

Baklava

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2008
Fantastic! I would sprinkle a little bit more than 3 Tablespoons of the nuts for the nut layers, because I ran out of phyllo dough before I ran out of the nuts. This was so good that I won't ever buy baklava again!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2007
These are really good. I made them exactly as the recipe, except I used butter straight out of the fridge. I also refrigerated the dough for at least an hour before I baked them. They turned out big and soft. The only way to improve on these is to dip them halfway into some melted white chocolate. Divine!

Butter Whip Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
I really love almond flavored sugar cookie frosting, so I added a little more almond extract. I made half the recipe and it was plenty for four dozen sugar cookies. It was a little runny for me, so I did have to add more powdered sugar. I think next time I make this I won't add as much whipping cream to it, and it should be perfect!

Giant Crisp Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2007
After reading so many good reviews, I gave these a try. They were mediocre at best. If you like thin and flat cookies without much flavor, then these are for you!

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2004
Followed recipe exactly, and it was excellent! Marinated for 3 hours, & broiled it (didn't take as long to cook, so be careful!). I put about 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, & 2 Tbsp lemon pepper on the filets before marinating. Couldn't really taste the lemon pepper, but I'd rather not have it overpower everything else. Lemon & lime wedges squeezed on was very tasty though. Hubby really loved it! He couldn't stop raving about it. Was as good or better than restaraunt broiled salmon. As my hubby said, this definitely is a keeper! Thanks Tina!

Mediterranean Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2004
This was really good. Was also very quick to make. I used a lemon and a lime for extra juice. I also made the Oven Roasted Potato recipe from this website and they went well together! Very yummy!
