BLT Pasta Salad

Reviewed: May 28, 2012
I made this pasta salad for the first time today. My husband and i really liked it but I'm only rating it a four start because I modified it to our liking, and didn't follow the recipe as written. Since it was just the two of us, I made two cups of pasta. I added 6 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled, 1 tomato, 1/4 of a cucumber, some green pepper. I also added 3/4 cup Light Peppercorn Ranch Salad Dressing. The pasta salad had so much flavor. We have enough leftovers for tomorrow night.

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2012
I made this recipe for the first time last night, never having made sausage and peppers before. The recipe came out great, The only thing I changed was not adding white wine, otherwise, followed the recipe exactly. My husband and i loved it. We had it on grinder rolls, and with a salad and corn on the cob, it was the perfect meal, easy too. I'll be making this again.

Baked Chicken Amandine

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2011
I made this recipe for the first time tonight, and its a keeper for my house. The combination of cream of chicken soup, and mayonnaise gives the casserole a delicious flavor. The ritz cracker topping is another great addition to this casserole. I made rice and a salad to go along with it, and there are enough leftovers to have again tomorrow night.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2011
I made this muffins for the first time today, and my husband loved them. We just had one with a cup of coffee, but I'm freezing the rest to take out during the holidays. AS recommended by other reviews, I used brown sugar instead of white. I thought the combination of spices was perfect, giving the muffins are very "autumn" flavor. I got 16 muffins out of the batch. Next time I'll try peanut butter morsels instead of choc. ones.

Quiche Lorraine II

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
made the way the recipe says,it's just OK . The onion is overpowering. I don't care for swiss cheese in omeletes, or quiches, so i used white cheddar. The bacon was good, but it needs something added to it.next time I make this recipe, I'm omitting the onion, and adding either mushrroms or breakfast sausage. Hopefully, we'll like the quiche better that way.

Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
I made these cookies today, and froze the for Christmas, leaving a few out for my husband's opinion. WE both loved these cookies, and i plan on making them again. They will be one of the cookies that are on my christmas baking list everyyear. I used vanilla instant pudding, and chocolate chips to make these cookies. I may experiment with another flavor of pudding next time.

Rice and Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2010
My family loved this meal, but i did make a few changes. I had leftover breaded chicken, so i cut that up. I made a cup of minute rice, and set it aside. I then heated up a can of cream of mushroom soup with a can of milk. Then I added a can of mushrooms, and two cups frozen mixed vegetables. I omitted the onion soup. I put it all in a casserole dish, and topped it with pie crust, cooking it at 350 for 40 minutes. DELICIOUS!

Quick Coffee Cake

Reviewed: May 16, 2008
This coffee cake was very easy to make, but I thik next time I'll add another egg and maybe a little more milk. It's a little dry, and the batter was hard to spread in the pan.Other than that, the topping was very easy to make and there was plenty of it go go around the pan.

Deviled Eggs I

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
This was my first attempt at making deviled eggs, and I couldn't believe how easy this recipe was. The only thing different that I did, was saved the paprika to sprinkle on top instead of adding it to the mixture. I'll use this recipe again and again.

Easy Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2008
Although these muffins came out very moist, I found the batter very dense, and hard to work with. I had a hard time scooping the batter into the muffin tins.I did get more muffins than the recipe said, I got 18 muffins.Even though the muffins were cooked all the way, my husband and I tasted an after taste from them. I won't try this recipe again, but will look for different muffin recipe.

Pumpkin Bars III

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2007
I made this recipe for the first time today, and it was just OK. My husband expected a "stronger" pumpkin flavor. I've tried other pumpkin recipes from this site, but I think I'll stick to the pumpkin pie bread. Thats been a hit with my family.

Shepherd's Pie Complete

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2007
I made this for dinner tonight and my husband and I loved it. I did make some changes though. First of all, I don't buy canned vegetables, so i added two cups of frozen mixed vegetables. I browned the hamburg meat and onion, and for the gravy I thickened a can of beef broth, that was plenty. I also boiled and mashed 4 potatoes. I put all ingredients in a round casserole dish, and topped with shredded mozzarella cheese. This was the perfect meal for a cold night. I'll be making this again!

I made this soup for dinner tonight and it was delicious! My husband had two helpings. I followed other reviews and added beef broth, diced tomatoes, garlic, potatoes, carrots, celery, stew meat, and two cups frozen mixed vegetables. Instead of onion soup mix, i added an envelope of vegetable soup mix. Served with a salad, and rye bread it made a perfect meal for a cold night like tonight.

Robbi's M&M Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
I made these cookies today, and I loved how easy they were to make. The one thing I would do different though, is add the m&m's to each cookie after spooning them on the cookie sheet.I had to add more m&m's to the batter, since there didn't seem to be enough. I like how the cookies aren't overly sweet either.
