Pasta Shells with Portobello Mushrooms and Asparagus in Boursin Sauce

Quick and easy. I have made this 3 times now, and actually prefer making it with the Herb and Garlic Boursin, not the pepper Boursin, but both are quite tasty. I made it almost exactly as the recipe states, with the only adjustment being the Herb and Garlic boursin, and I use less portobello mushrooms, because they can be expensive.

Classic Spanish Sangria

This is such a favorite with my friends. I follow the recipe, and occasionally add more rum (for an extra fun time!). I've used all sorts of red wines, but typically stick to a cheap merlot.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

I make this every holiday, and it's always a big hit. I make it exactly as the recipe states, the only thing I adjust is the amount of broth (which I adjust based on if it looks too dry or not. If it looks too wet, I take the lid off for the last half-hour of cooking to help it evaporate). Sometimes I add apple chunks.

Apple Crisp II

Used half the sugar on the apples, as I used a sweetish eating apple (Spartan's). Still found it just a little sweet, however. Will try this again with Granny Smiths as others have suggested.

Mrs. Baker's Sticky Cinnamon Rolls

This were very tasty, but not sticky at all. More like dough, with cinnamon sugar dustings. I will be making this again, but am still searching for a good sticky bun recipe.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

I love these! So does my boyfriend, who is VERY picky. If things are like the way his gran makes them...oh dear. My roommates also love them. This is the most frequently made recipe in our house. They get made a few times a month at least, and they make a ton. Decorate with icing that will set, or bake with coloured sugar crystals.

Dad's Oatmeal Cookies

Not quite what I was expecting, but these were still tasty, and really easy to make. A nice, "Oatmeal-spice" type cookie I guess. I might put raisins in them next time.

Wontons for Wonton Noodle Soup

I changed this recipe somewhat, and they came out great. Just like my grandmother used to make. I omitted the dashi, since I couldn't find it, added 1 tbsp. rice wine (some other recipe suggested it), added 1 tsp. fresh ginger. I also omitted the egg, but I think the egg might help them stick together more. Its a very time consuming recipe to wrap them all.

Hershey's ® Chocolate Mousse

Fantastic recipe, however I found it a bit too sweet. I'm about to make it again this weekend, and will cut the sugar in half. Incredibly easy.
