Curry Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2010
I love this recipe!! I buy those huge bags of broccoli from Costco and don't know what to do with all of it~ this recipe solved that problem!! My kids love it!! I use dried cranberries instead of dried cherries (cheaper) and I'll throw whatever nuts I have on hand, even peanuts! I bump up the curry to 2 tsp cause I like more curry flavor....It's a great summer salad!! YUMMY!!

Artichokes

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2009
Don't cut the stems off!! Peel it like a carrot, trim off about a 1/2 inch off the stem only. The stem is so good, it's just like the heart of the choke without all the work to get to! Also when cleaning, put the cleaned artichoke in a bowl of water with a squeeze of lemon while preparing, this will keep it from turning color. I always serve my artichokes with mayo and sun dried tomatoes mixed in, yum!

Cheese and Olive Bread

I have a similar recipe, mine calls for fresh garlic (2-3 cloves) and 6oz of pimento stuffed green olives chopped (in addition of the black chopped olives) OMG! Pair this a salad or soup, forget about pizza night, we now do Olive Bread Night! YUM YUM

Easy Company Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2009
This recipe has real potential, I didn't change a thing. (I feel if you are going to rate something it should be made as the recipe states) I like anything with curry, I would make it again with a few of my own changes to it. (like add onions and bell peppers maybe)

Miso Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
This was a good recipe. It was very close to the sushi restaurant down the street. I realized this was missing the peanut taste to my favorite dressing, so I added a 1T of peanut butter and it seemed to do the trick. I think it would have been better if it called for peanut oil instead of veggie oil and since I had already made it, the peanut butter was a quick fix. I would make it again.

This was good, the next time I would make it I would change it up some. It's easy and worth making, but my family likes a little more flavor to it.

Taco Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
This recipe really surprised me, it was tastier than I expected. Yes, it's heavy on the calories and fat, but I used reduced fat crescent rolls and fat free sour cream. I could have also used baked tortilla chips and low fat cheese to make it "skinnier" but it turned out great with the changes I made. I would make it again.
