Fluffy Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
These were fantastic! I used butter flavored shortening and garlic salt in place of the regular. I didn't have a biscuit cutter so I just used a cookie cutter. Worked out well! My husband who is a total biscuit fanatic loved them! I would have like them a bit softer, but still great.

Chocolate Fudge Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2010
I omitted the hot fudge topping, but it was still pretty good. It melted a little too easily though.

Rugelach

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2010
These were fantastic! I used mini chocolate chips instead of raisins and walnuts. I'm sad that we have to share them!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2010
I've tried many chocolate chip cookie recipes and this is by far the best! The only change I made was adding peanut butter chips and sprinkles. My husband has already finished half of the batch in a few hours! This is a must try recipe!

Japanese Zucchini and Onions

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2010
This was SO GOOD! I was sad to not have anymore left. Even my husband loved it and he's picky! I made a few changes. I used 1 T veg. oil and 1 T. sesame oil. I used my peeler to make the zucchini and onions into thin strips. I also added garlic in the beginning with the onion. Definitely a keeper!

Caramel Macchiato Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2010
I had high hopes for this because of the rave reviews, but I thought it was nothing special. I made it for my parents who are caramel macchiato fanatics and they did not enjoy it.

Banana Oatmeal Cookie

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2010
These have great potential, but they were missing something. I feel like they needed additional spices...maybe cinnamon and vanilla extract.

Pesto Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
I used wheat thin spaghetti in place of bow tie since this is what I had already. I took others' suggestions and used the sun dried tomato oil to cook the chicken in and added the tomatoes towards the end of cooking. I also threw in some diced zucchini to add some veggies. I had to add more pesto though because it was a little dry looking. Once tossed together I mixed in some parmesan cheese and baked 10 mins. It was really good and my husband loved it!

Parmesan Knots

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2009
Yummy! I'd give it a 4 1/2 but they don't allow it! I had to scale down the recipe to 20 servings so I only had to use 1 can of biscuits. The only change I did was I brushed melted butter on them before baking.

Fudge Puddles

These were so good!! Especially loved the chocolate! Will make it again! I made one batch in a mini muffin baking sheet and another in a regular muffin sheet. Both were great.

Cashew Crusted Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
This recipe was very good. I had some issues with the cashews falling off. I think I'll try putting them in a processor next time for a finer chop. I took another person's advice and broiled it the last 2 minutes. It was moist and sweet. Yummy...will make again!

Florentine Stuffed Chicken

Very good. Used garlic and basil in the spinach. Took someone else's advice and baked it at 400 for 40 mins. Used boneless skinless breasts too. My family really liked it!

Sweet and Spicy Pork and Napa Cabbage Stir-Fry with Spicy Noodles

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2009
Definitely not a 5 star recipe. I served it for a small dinner party and everyone thought it was just mediocre. The pasta is the only part that had a nice flavoring to it. I would make it again, but it will call for some changes.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2009
The sauce was very good, but the chicken was slightly dry and I cooked it less time than required! I would make it again, but it definitely won't go in my rotation.

Southwest Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
Very good recipe. I seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic, and crushed red pepper flakes. Didn't have any chili powder on hand. I also cooked the chicken in olive oil cooking spray rather than in oil. It was still very good and my fiance really liked it.

Pumpkin Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
These were good, but definitely not worth 5 stars. Something was missing in the ingredients such as nutmeg or the pumpkin spice as others suggested. And boy did it make a lot of cookies. I had so many I had to send some to work with my fiance just to get rid of them.
