Golden Potato Soup
I made this soup with a few modifications and it was a hit. I first fried pepper bacon and then sauteed the onion and celery in the bacon grease. I used Yukon Gold potatoes as they are more firm when cooked. I skipped the water and bouillon, used chicken stock instead. Lastly used heavy whipping cream instead of milk. Next time I will double up on the flour as I like my soups thicker, but corn starch did the trick.

Tomato Bisque II
I have made this several times, first as written is very good. My twist that is loved by friends and family is: Only use Roma Tomatoes sliced into quarters into the pot with spices after 30 minutes of simmering use hand blender to liquefy, I use a 1/2 cup of flour as I like my soup a little thicker, and I use half & half instead of milk.

Authentic Mexican Chili Rellenos
Great recipe, used 3 eggs, pinch of salt, removed seeds before broiling. Hatch Green Chillis are fantastic, but you can't find them in Kentucky, so I used Anaheim.
