Donut Muffins

Loved these! Quick and easy to make, tasted soooo good! My husband and daughter ate them up before they had a chance to cool :) Used fresh grated nutmeg and will be making these many times over :)Thanks!

Chicken Breast Stuffed with Spinach Blue Cheese and Bacon

I was impressed! I couldn't get the chicken to roll, so I used a skewer to keep them together in the oven. Used another reviewer's advice to bake them only. They turned out moist and tasty - had extra filling left over and used that on some puff pastry for an impromptu appetizer - yummy!

Apple Turnovers

Oh so yummy! I didn't seal the edges well and a lot of filling spilled out so I'll remember that for next time. If you can mange not to eat them all (we're diabetic so only one each), they keep well overnight too! I save one for my Dad the next day and took one to work - delicious!

Swedish Meatballs I

We used lean beef and the sauce was very greasy. The meatballs tasted like meatloaf - not what I hoped for at all. Not a lot of flavour, maybe better for people who like plain food.

Slow Cooker Spaghetti Sauce II

Hmmm, not sure about this one. I had read that I should add dry herbs at the end of slow cooking so I waited til the end of cooking and the sauce was good, but on the bland side. I made a triple batch and have since used the sauce as a base for chili and baked spaghetti where I can add flavourings as needed.

Spring Lime Tea Cookies

So, so good!! The texture is light and delicate and the buttery flavour is not overpowering. I use this recipe as a base and add other flavours in the same manner (ie. coffee, lemon, chocolate). Thanks for posting!

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Great basic recipe. I fiddled with the ingredients a little (spiced it up) and it still came out yummy. I used chicken broth instead of the white wine and, although I found it a little greasy, my fiance wants to have it again soon. Thanks for posting it!
