Crustless Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
Made this on 12/26/10 and it was AWESOME! I made it exactly like the recipe but used 1 cup mozzarella and 2 cups sharp cheddar because that was what I had on hand. Also, I had a couple of egg yolks left over from another recipe I had made so threw those in as well to use them up. Baked it in a lightly greased 8 x 8 pan and served it in squares. This is a very quick and easy to make recipe. Try it....you will love it!

Cinnamon Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
I had never heard of cinnamon pie so decided I should give it a try. What a perfect recipe. EVERYONE should try this....don't change a thing...it's perfect just the way it is written. It is very easy to make and it is absolutely delicious. As other reviewers suggested, I used the Buttery Crunch Crust recipe submitted by Sal on this site and it was perfect with it. I am 82 years old and my husband said this was the best pie I have ever made. This is a keeper! Thanks for sharing this with us Sharon and "kudos" to your great-grandmother!

Buttery Crunch Crust

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
Absolutely fantastic recipe! I made it exactly like the recipe but used a lightly greased 10 inch glass pie pan instead of the 9 inch. I used the whole recipe for the crust instead of saving half of it for the topping and it covered the pan nicely. I did not bake it before putting the filling in. I made the Cinnamon Pie from this site that was submitted by Sharon Miller and the crust complimented the pie superbly! This is a real keeper. Would have given it 10 stars if I could. Will be making this often.

Oven Fried Chicken III

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2010
Used other reviewers suggestion of mixing 1/2 cup mayonnaise with 1/2 cup of milk and Panko instead of bread crumbs. Placed chicken on a foil lined cookie sheet which I had greased with olive oil and baked in a 400 degree oven for 45 minutes. It was perfect! Nice and crispy on outside and moist and tender inside. Husband said it was as good as his mother's fried chicken. This was the ultimate compliment! Thanks for sharing your great recipe Elizabeth. I will be making this again.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
This is absolutely wonderful! I followed the recipe EXACTLY but did add fresh sauteed mushrooms to it because we love mushrooms. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars! Served this with brown rice and a green salad and had enough gravy for the rice. We have been married 51 years and my husband said it was the best meal I have ever cooked and the best pork chops he had EVER eaten. Considering that his Mother was famous for her pork chops, this was the ULTIMATE compliment! Thanks for a great recipe! I will be making this often.

Creamy Coconut Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
Made this for my husband's birthday and he said it was the best dessert he had ever eaten! I followed directions exactly but used a butter cake mix instead of white. Also I toasted the coconut which gave it a nice texture and looked beautiful on the cake. This is definitely a KEEPER! Thanks for sharing this great recipe with us Julia. I know I will be making this one often!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
AWESOME recipe! Not only is it easy to make but it is absolutely delicious! We do not like a lot of sauce on our barbecue so I only used about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of Sweet Baby Ray Barbecue Sauce in the shredded pork. I put the rest of the sauce out in case anyone wanted additional. I followed the recipe exactly but next time I will try it with a Pork Butt or Shoulder instead of the boneless pork ribs. Thanks for sharing!

Easy, Cheesy Tortellini Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2007
Made this today and used some of the previous reviewers suggestions. I buy the large bags of Tortellin at Costco and break them down into 1 lb portions. I used 1 lb of tortelli, a 16 oz jar of Alfredo and a 15 oz jarg of Prego and it turned out to be a perfect combination. My only problem was when I placed it under the broiler, the mozzarella and parmesan turned out with a hard crust which was hard to cut. Next time I will bake it until the cheese melts. Wonderful easy, delicious recipe which I plan to make often. Thanks for a great recipe!

Kylie's Ham Delights

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2007
Didn't think I would like this because I don't normally like anything sweet with meat but these were excellent. I used Philly style Hoagi Rolls instead of croissants and added deli mustard. I sauted the pineapple and ham over medium heat until most of the pineapple juice had cooked off and then placed the pineapple and ham on the rolls. Topped them with the provolone cheese and stuck them in the broiler until cheese melted. Husband loved them!

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2007
Excellent recipe! Used one can of Potato Soup and one can of Cream of Mushroom Soup. Will definitely make this again but will follow some of the other reviewers suggestions and only use 8 ounces of sour cream and one one cup of grated Parmesan. This is a keeper! Thanks for sharing Melissa.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2006
Tried this tonight for the first time and it is really wonderful! This is a very easy to fix and delicious dish. I followed the recipe exactly but did add a tablespoon of sugar as suggested by one of the other reviewers. Had to cook it a little over an hour but that could be due to my oven. Thanks for a great recipe. This is a "KEEPER"!

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2006
This is WONDERFUL! I made this for some out of town guests and was a bit concerned because one of them is a gourmet cook. She thought it was AWESOME! I followed the advice of some of the other reviewers and used a whole 8 oz pkg of cream cheese and an 8 oz pkg of shredded mozzarella. I mixed everything together and then spread it in the 8 x 8 baking dish. I will be making this again! Thanks for a delicious easy to make recipe!

Cream of Chicken with Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2006
This is absolutely AWESOME! I used chicken breast and an 8 oz package of whole mushrooms which gave me more than 1 cup when sliced but since we like mushrooms, I used the whole package. I sauteed the vegetables in butter instead of margarine and for added richness I used two 24 oz cans of evaporated milk plus one cup fresh milk. I used two packages of Uncle Ben's Long Grain & Wild Rice (without the seasoning packs). This was definitely one of the most delicious soup recipes I have ever tried! Thanks!

Pistachio Fluff Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2003
Great recipe! I served it to my Mah Jongg club and they loved it. One member allergic to bananas so left them out and added an 8 oz can of Pineapple Tidbits and an extra can of Mandarin Oranges. Sprinkled toasted coconut on top. Delicious!

This is the best chili recipe I have ever eaten! I used 3 pounds of ground beef and omitted the beef sirloin cubed. My husband loved it!
