I tripled this recipe, added 1/4 cup minced green peppers, 1/2 medium onion, omitted the garlic powder, and 1/4 cup evaporated milk, and it was GREAT! I made it the day before and I had to check on it in the middle of the night to keep my husband from sneaking and eating it before church! Everyone loved the sweet taste it had, and the milk made it more moist!
