Old Fashioned Chicken and Dumplings

I love dumplings...I don't know why. This is a good recipe. I make this often. want to remind everyone that recipes are not set in stone especially soup recipes. Feel free to add or remove vegtables that YOU like. Have fun cooking and enjoy eating!

Frozen Chocolate Pie

For National Pie Day (jan 23) I made this pie for work and my co-workers thought it was yummy good! The only problem is that it does start to melt after awhile! Remember to keep it in the freezer if you don't eat it all at once. So simple so try it!

Chicken Noodle Soup II

This is a great recipe because it has more than just chicken and noodles! I am a huge soup lover so I make this often. I have proved to myself and others that I can make homemade noodles so to save time I've used penne pasta or egg noodles instead.

Black Bean Medley

My parents wanted to try new foods and this dish was my contribution and it was well liked. This is a great tasting recipe. It is hard to transport so just make sure you have a large bowl and keep the rice seperate or just cook the rice at the location.

Black Bean Pasta

I make this often to use as lunches during a week. I normally divide it up into 5 small containers and freeze them until I need one for lunch. It holds up well once it's reheated. I change nothing in the original recipe so it's great as a complete dinner, as a side dish for a party, or for lunches. ENJOY!!

Curried Chicken Salad

I haven't tried many Chicken Salads but I thought it was very tasty. I made it for a birthday party and it was a hit. I rolled it up in flour tortillas like a jellyroll and sliced it up for some yummy finger food. I also used an already roasted chicken I bought at the store and then diced it up. It was a great time saver!

Garlic Pasta

This is a favorite side dish for many meals. It is extremely easy. I never have all the fresh ingredients so I use the dried herbs except for the garlic (I always have some fresh). Could be laziness but after the pasta is finished I put the rest of the ingredients in the pot and give it a big stir until everything is mixed. So simple and it adds a nice spice to dinner.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

I hate Tiramisu Cake but I made this for a friend's birthday and she loved it! I tried some aswell and determined that it was pretty good. I don't like the idea of using a cheese in a dessert. It is a ton of work but I honestly think it's worth it. I will probably make this cake again.

Brigid's Blackberry Pie

I've made this pie twice and everyone (co-workers) loved it, but who doesn't like free pie? My only issue is the runniness even though it rested over night. I plan on trying some of the other reviewer's suggestions. Also, I need clarification...after coating the berries all the dry mixture goes into the pie aswell, correct?

Baked Salmon II

I make this often. I'm single so I cut everything in half. I tend to use a smaller amount of olive oil but that's just a perssonal preference. Depending on the size of your galric cloves determines the flavor. Just an observation when I started pulling apart my garlic bulb and used a large clove. Good thing I like garlic.
