Spinach Tomato Tortellini

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2006
I've never put together a dish that was this easy and taste so good. I will definitely make this again and again. It took me 10 minutes total.

Restaurant-Style Tequila Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2006
This recipe was pretty good. In the end I thought the flavor would be more unique, but it tasted like enchilada sauce poured over chicken. That was a ton of ingredients, but the only thing I really tasted was very similar to enchilada sauce. May make again.

Asian Flank Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2006
I thought this recipe was great. I eliminated the honey because I thought the OJ made it sweet enough. I may try this on a ribeye next time.

Florentine Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2006
I eliminated 1/2 package of sour cream and the mayonaise and replaced with 1 cup of alfredo sauce. It was fantastic. Thanks.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2006
This recipe was fantastic. Exactly what I was looking for. I made this with eggroll wrappers (so easy), cilantro instead of parsley, and cooked at 425 for about 25 minutes. I also served it with a sour cream wasabi dipping sauce. Will make again and again.

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2005
I thought this was good, but it was a little strong. I am a cilantro aholoic, so that ingredient I love, but there was a little too much of something else, not sure if it was the celery salt or ground cumin.

Crab Quiche

I thought this was pretty good. I may substitute cheddar Cheese for the Monterey and add more green onions for more punch next time. I loved the creamy texture and will definitely make this again.

Garlic Butter

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2005
Holy cow!!! Who woulda thought that a garlic butter sauce could be this dang good? I made about a fourth of a cup and pureed it at high speed with a handheld blender. I poured it over quartered red potatos and microwaved it for 7 mins, stirring it about half way through. Made a great, quick, and easy side dish.

Acapulco Margarita Grouper

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2005
I thought this recipe was great. In fact, I cooked it twice in one week; the second time over chicken. The marinade was tangy and I loved the texture of the salsa topping. The ingredients are a little expensive, but once you buy the two bottles of liquor, you may use them again and again for this recipe, or cocktails, hehe. For the reviewer that stated that the fish was dry, you shouldn't marinate it for longer than the recipe states (and then give a bad review). Fruit juices and/or liquor are known to "cook up" fish, such as ceviche.

Penne with Spicy Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2005
Wow, this recipe was amazing and so simple. I added about a teaspoon of fresh ground pepper, a teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 tablespoon extra of vodka, 1/2 teaspoon extra of red pepper flakes, 1/4 c extra of whipping cream and sprinkled with fresh grated parmesan cheese. Next time I am going to try this with chicken and cheese tortelini.

Hot and Sour Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2005
This recipe is outstanding. I used crushed red pepper and ground ginger and eliminated the bamboo shoots and chicken, as that is what I had on hand. Will definately make again and again.

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2005
I really like the flavor of this lasagna. I may have done something wrong, but it was really dry. I had a hard time spreading the three layers of sauce over three layers of noodles in a 9x13 inch dish. I think I will use two cans of tomatoes next time. Will definately make this again.

Creamy Mango Sorbet

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2005
This was so good and extremely easy to make. It tastes like the mango sorbet I get from my favorite Japanese restaurant. It had a great creamy consistency; not icey at all. I imagine you can make this with any fruit so long as you have about a cup and a half of it. Before serving, I run the bag under warm water for about 30 seconds and move the contents around a bit more then scoop out with an icecream scooper. Thanks for the recipe.

Halibut with Rice Wine

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2005
This recipe is EXCELLENT! I absolutely loved it. The only changes I made were to use a cabernet/merlot (Yellowtail) instead of sweet wine, as that is what I had on hand , and I switched the halibut out for salmon. I am trying to figure out what else I can use this sauce on besides fish (my boyfriend is allergic), because it is so good. Thanks for the recipe.

I can't find the Caribbean Marinade anywhere. I looked in the Grill Mates section and the seasoning/spices section. Anyone else having trouble?

Restaurant-Style Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2005
This recipe is great for a Sunday brunch. But it seems to be a little bland. Seems as thought it is missing something to punch up the flavor. I made my salsa recipe the same weekend (Jen's Fresh and Spicy Salsa) and poured a little over each bite. Thought it was a great combo. Thanks for the recipe.

Seared Tuna with Wasabi-Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2005
This dish had an excellent flavor, however the butter started to separate in the heating process and turned out to be extremely oily. I actually was able to ignore the consistency because the flavor really was good. I may try this with heavy cream instead of butter next time. I will definately try it again. Thanks.
